My favorite car would be the BMW 325i. I love the style of that car. The other one I would get would be a 1988 Honda CRx. Always loved that way this one looks with a body kit and good rims.

Ooo, this is a toughie. The BMW 325i is cool, but my best bmw is the old box type BMW 325iS, or if you can find one a 333i Motorsport, a car we got in South Africa to substitute the absent M3. Its very tough to choose one car over all the millions of awsome cars. But for me my favorite car out of the ones I've driven has got to be my Alfa, once its done it'll put all to shame pirate

My fave car is definately a '87 Ford Mustang. They have one that's really nice for sale near where I live, and it's goin' for $7,000. It was $6,000, but they bumped up the price because they got some work done to it(like reupholstering it).

I like the mid 80's 5.0. During the 80's, Ford tried to make a muscle car that was also fuel efficient, thats how the model was made. Its a good car, the 5.0 or the 4 cylinder. Either one is good and both are still rather fast. All in all, a good choice of vehicle.

My perfect ride...THE 1993 Land Rover Defender 110 This car is the direct descendant of the Series vehicles that brought forth the Land Rover marque back in 1948. As such, this car was built to drive anywhere, and it proved that as well, continuously being an entry vehicle in the Camel Trophy and today's G4 Challenge. The black rollcage is unique to the 1993 110; it was utilized so that it would reinforce the aluminum body to make it much stronger in the case of a crash, since there were no airbags installed in any of the Defenders. Not only is it renowned for its legendary offroad prowess, this was a limited-edition run. Only 500 110's were made to these specifications and imported to the U.S. in 1993. Because of their rarity (as if the Defender series wasn't rare enough) 110's are being sold on Ebay and dealerships at prices way above their original price of $39,900. Also, I learned that one was painted black, and one caught fire. Ouch!

Hmm, can't say I'm a fan of landies. I mean you can drive all over africa in one, and then take that same truck accross the desserts of the middle east to make it in Tokyo for Tea. Everyone knows how to fix them. Trouble is everyone has had to fix one. If you get what I'm saying.
Landrover still enjoys quite popular support in South Africa, there are loads of defenders driving about, if I had to get one I'd get the short base two door v8 variant.

Never been a fan of any of the Landrovers. I've always been a car guy. I also don't like Hummers. Its a hole thing about having a vehicle that could drive through 4 feet of water and not doing it. But this is America where I live, nobody drives through 4 feet of water unless they are in the offroad sport or are government. There is alot that can be done to them, and not just 26 in rims.

I think I know maybe one person that owns a Hummer, but he just has too much money. Everyone around here drives a truck or an SUV. I myself drive a truck. Sounds stupid for everyone to drive such big vehicles, but we actually use them. Winter is hell for driving, and most roads are either gravel or old destroyed highways. It's kind of a pain.

Thats kinda how it is out here. Little country roads with potholes and crap in the street. Its not that bad so people can drive cars. Its all good. We don't really have a good shop around here, so all the cars are stock. Most of the teens drive cars with pipes and rims. Thats it. The greasers really get into the cars. I just never had the cash flow to deck out my car. GOD I love greasers!

Hah, I get a kick out of the teens in the city. Like you said, they're mostly just stock japanese cars all riced-out. I don't even think they know how to appreciate classic muscle, and I'd be willing to bet that non of them did any of the work themselves! Crazy....

Of course not. I don't have a car to do my own work and don't trust myself to do it unless I really know how to do it. Trained and everything. I know I know how, I've disassembled an engine, measured it up, cleaned and polished the parts then put it back together, dropped it in the car and fired it up. Ran like a charm.

How long did that take, and what kind of engine was it? I've gotta rebuild a 350 this winter, and I figure it'll be a bit time-consuming. I've done 4-cylinder engines and all sorts of bike and snowmobile engines, but I'm afraid the big 8 is just going to take too long.

Uhm...lets see, an hour a day over two weeks. 10 hours to do everything. I had a blast. Thats what hooked me on engines. I've always loved cars but dismantling the motor was like an epiphany. Also, it was an 2001 Chevy Malibu 1.6L...It was dropped into the body of an 84 Impala.

I've taken those mostly apart, my truck's got one(depressingly). I figure if I take a couple hours every day I'll have the 350 torn apart and polished up in no time then.
