I've always wondered which one of them would win a fight. I kinda think Gus would win. I don't know, he seems like he could whip Shawn' butt. what do you think?

Gus has the muscle, as we know from having seen him working out and his many admittances to working out.
However, Shawn's got the energy. He's spritely, almost. He could prance about, confuse the hell out of Gus, and most likely kick his a**...
If they did end up fighting, I think Shawn would win.

To me, Gus is like the Hulk. If you piss him off, he might just kick your a**. (without the whole turning green thing) Gus is usually angry at Shawn and if he takes out all his anger on him well....you know the rest. I'm just sayin'. 3nodding

I dunno..... Gus is not really the quiet type, but he definitely is reserved and those are the guys you want to watch out for in a fight.
They don't seem like it, but they can snap and take potshots at everyone.
I'm going to have to go with Gus on this one.

Strength be damned. Law of "watch out for the quiet ones" be damned... Rabid squirrels are vicious. Although I agree with the rabid squirrels ( ninja ) I'm not so sure Shawn would win. We all think that he would, but Gus seems to be better than Shawn at a lot of things. Course since they both cheat each other out all the time, it's very difficult to say. And in all views of past "fights" between the two, someone claims the other cheated. And of course they both seem like wusses and neither of them could stand in a real fight, so of course they wouldn't fight each other because they both know they cant fight. If that makes any sense.
(but of course Lassie kicks everyones a** wink )

I think the one with the gun will win, personally. In which case it would be Shawn, as we all know he's been raised to hit bull's eye on par with the cops and Gus has probably never touched a gun for the same reasons he runs and screams from dead bodies... He's a wuss.

XD Well I don't know. Sure, if Shawn had a gun, he would win. But first of all, something REALLY bad would have to happen to get Shawn so mad he would shoot Gus. That's... thats just crazy.
And now as for the trivia, it depends. If Gus is smart, and asks a question he has never asked before or one that is not over any famous person he likes, which I presume is why Shawn knew the answer, I bet Gus would win. Otherwise, he's screwed.
In a fist fight... my money's on Gus. Course I can imagine both just slapping each other, and I think Shawn would be a tough opponent, but I think Gus would kick Shawn's a**. 3nodding

But if you watch the International Pilot on the dvd....
Shawn is having a conversation with Junior Detective Lucinda. She says to him that he could have been valedictorian, gone to college. Done something with himself. He was a genius. "You could be running IBM," she says at the end of her reveal. So, Shawn's got some major brain power working over on Gus.
Now, as for the gun, yeah... Shawn wouldn't... shoot... Gus. Maybe in the foot, but it'd be with paintballs....
AND, fist fighting? I can't see either one of them doing it, but if they did get into a physical, knock down, drag out fight, you HAVE to remember that Henry is the one who taught Shawn nearly everything he knows. Shawn knows how to apprehend someone, how to knock someone out, and probably many other things Gus would never even think to do.
