After a night of searching the ever expanding webnets for another comic to read while working my second job (4-8 AM desk job. Mmmmm. "fun"), I stumbled upon this gem of a comic: Dresden Codak.

I probably enjoy it because the main character, Kim, is a bit of a girl genius, and I've been known to be drawn to the girl genius type. In fact, I'm going to be a Spark for halloween this year, but I digress. The illustration is well executed and almost every strip is in color! Whoo! Color! The archive is small as of now, so it shouldn't take to long to read. So check it out! =D

I completely agree with you! Dresdan Codak is witty and bizarre, and suffers only from a lack of current material. Excellent for a quick read through!

That comic seriously turned me into a transhumanist once I started to look up what they were talking about.
I love it.

I enjoy Dresden Codak a lot. :3 Bought a few shirts from Topatoco to wear, including a Tiny Carl Jung (hee!) one for my philosophy-book devouring friend. Every once in a while, though, since the updates are so spaced apart, I have to read back through the pages a bit to keep track of what's going on. biggrin And the idea of a Historical Pre-enactment Society is so fantastic <3 If I had more nerd-ling friends, I'd organize one myself ^^

Goodness, the Historical Pre-enactment Society t-shirt I own gets so many strange looks and I have to explain it (sometimes). I intend to run wild next year on that day and maybe enlist the crazy-ness of a few friends. I'm lucky to know one or two people that will partake in the shenanigans. biggrin
