...to a theater near you!

Discuss any upcoming film, even if it is a year or so away... or even if it's only just been announced.

I'll begin: Who's seen the Cloverfield/1-18-08 preview? If you haven't, it's here.

are they making a film about that?
EVangelion?....i've seen the serie mostlyin very bad quality but its a tad to melodramatic for me...

the hobbit...yeh its a shame peter jackson could nto finish the entire lotr stuff
i guess he would have made it one whole a bit more...it would look like it would be the same world...but i guess Raimi will have to copy some of Jacksons style to at least have some of his succes...allot of viewers would probably want that

NGE is melodramatic indeed... I suppose thats part of its success =) Yeah, but its a hollywood production, with a lot of changes to americanize it, so its receiving very bad critics from the fans...

Actually, about Raimi/Jackson, it's funny, because I always found some kinda connection between these guys... Both started with "crap" gore, both recently released superproductions... But, definitely, it'd be a good point to have Jackson there again... at least, to have Alan Lee and John Howe

December twenty-first (in the US): Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street! I can't wait for that one. Tim Burton, Helena Bonham Carter, Johnny Depp, Alan Rickman, Sacha Baron Cohen, and even Anthony Stewart Head in part of it, and it's a musical! About a murderer! biggrin FANTASTIC.

The Golden Compass comes out a little earlier in the same month, and I just hope advertising doesn't do that one in. I loved the book, and I can't wait to see it in action.

Bee Movie's coming out soon, and I look forward to it for reasons I can't even fully comprehend. All I know is that as soon as I heard about it, I wanted to see it.

Fred Claus: I wanted to see it more a year or so ago, when I first heard about it. Now I'm kind of put-off by what I'm seeing in the previews.

Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium is one I've only seen a cut-out for, but it looked interesting from that. I'm keeping an eye out for it.

Enchanted looks silly and childish, but I'm still interested.

The Mist looks somewhat interestng, but if they're stuck in that shop for more than eighty percent of the movie it could easily get old fast.

I have to see I am Legend, for no reason other than that it was filmed right around (and on) campus here. XD I just want to see what Washington Square Park looks like in the film as compared to how I saw it when they had t all dressed up.

I absolutely refuse to see Alvin and the Chipmunks. It looks like a travesty on toast. I cringe whenever I see previews or posters for it. Ew.

I want to see The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep because... well, it looks like a fun movie.

Charlie Bartlett looks fairly interesting.
