Alice smiled at Bella and turned into the Cullen's unmarked driveway. A couple minutes later she was pulling Bella gently out of the car and leading the way to the house. Rosalie opened the door as soon as Alice and Bella were close enough, "I wouldn't go upstairs." She stated plainly. Alice frowned, Edward's yelling could be heard all the way from the door. Alice looked at Bella, "Don't worry. He's just...mad. Like I said, Cory is part of teh Volturi...She's not really welcome around here by a few of us. Though Carlisle and Esme, along with Emmett and Jasper seem to adore her." Alice visibly rolled her eyes and shut the door behind Bella, then sat on the couch.

Bella nodded and then quietly whispered the others' names. In less than a minute, Emmett and the others came to greet Bella. Edward remained upstairs, yelling at Cory. "Hey everybody."

Alice hugged Jasper tightly, then looked at Carlisle, "Why is he yelling at her?" She asked curiously. Carlisle frowned, "He thinks she'll tell her uncle about Bella still being human." Suddely a girl with waist length black hair was in the living room, she smiled at Bella, "I assume you're the wonderful Isabella? Pleasure to meet you," She held out a perfectly manicured hand and looked straight into Bella's eyes with her rare blue vampire eyes.

Bella nodded, too stunned to say anything. When she was able to speak again, she smiled and shook the girl's hand. "Just when I thought I'd gotten used to the beauty of all of you...another comes along to send me into shock again. Pleasure to meet you too Cory." She felt an arm around her waist and smiled even wider. "Hello Edward."

Alice frowned, "So, what brings your visit, Cory?" She asked, with a mask of interest on her face. Cory laughed musically, "Oh, you know the usual. Uncle Caius sent me to try and convince you all to join the Volturi, join a great vampire army, blah blah blah. But, I also came to meet the ever so interesting love intrests' of Edward's; no one will stop talking about Isabella, Edward's Tua Cantante." Cory shot Bella a look, "But of course, I'm not going to try to convince any of you to come, except maybe Emmett and Jasper; maybe Isabella would like to come?" Cory brushed her hair from her face and smiled at Bella. Alice growled, "You're just bad news, no wonder lots of vampires want to kill you." Jasper frowned, "Sorry. I go where Alice goes, and I know alice wont join the Volturi."

Bella shifted uncomfortably next to Edward. "Um....please don't call me that." she said quietly. It drove her crazy when people called her Isabella, even if it was her name. "And I doubt that Emmett would go anywhere without Rose." She glanced over at her soon to be sister-in-law and smiled.

Alice turned to Carlisle and Esme, "You're really letting her stay here!" she already knew the answer but she would bet against herself, so she could prove herself wrong. She growled when Carlisle replied, "Yes, she's as welcome here as you are Alice." Cory smirked, then turned back to Bella, "So Isabella, I hear you run with wolves; I find werewolve a nuissance, they shouldn't be living so close to vampire territory."She bluntly ignored Bella's pitch about using her real name.

"Don't call me that. And why does it matter to you if I am friends with werewolves? Its not like it involves you." Bella glared at Cory through narrowed eyes. This vampire was a nuisance to her. "You wanna go upstairs Alice?" Bella slowly unwrapped Edward's arm from around her waist and gave him a kiss before walking towards the stairs.

Cory laughed, "I'm sorry Bella, that's what you prefer to be called? I've stepped out of line more then once today, please accept my apology." She bowed her head and quickly her eyes flashed to Edward, who growled. Alice sighed, "Sorry Bella, I think I should probably take Cory hunting," Cory laughed, "Oh it's alright, I'm sure Jasper and Emmett would agree to take me while you enjoy Bella's company," Cory shot a look at Carlisle, who in turn told the boys to take her hunting. "I'll be back later, tata!" She waved and headed out the door with Jasper and Emmett. Alice and Rosalie where balling their hands into fists and growling lightly, Alice was the first to recover and followed Bella to the stairs, "Come on!" She stressed leading the way.

Bella nodded her head and followed after Alice. "Stupid, skanky, bitchy hoe." she growled. She continued muttering obscene phrases about Cory as they walked into Alice's bedroom. "Hey Alice, let's get all dressed up and go shopping or something. I need to take my mind off of that...that thing!"

Alice laughed, "No need to use language like that Bella! Cory, she just...she's used to getting everything she wants; Caius is her uncle, the Volturi always get what they want...She's really alright once...she settles in. In a day or so, she'll be so bored she'll be nice just to be able to do something." Alice went to her closet, where she had an arrangement of clothes for Bella when she came over. She pulled out a shimmery blue outfit, "Here! Put this on and I'll get ready to do your hair!" She smiled happily and pranced into her bathroom.

Alice smiled, "I wassss thinking really small ringlets. No, wait, we can do some sort of chopstick messy thing. That'll look good," Alice ran out of the room and came back in a second with a black dress with a gold trim, "Here. Put this one on instead, I like the way it looks on you."

Bella made a weird noise between a sigh and a laugh. "Fine, fine, fine. This dress it is then." She carefully took off the dress she was wearing, then slipped th other one over her head. "Better?"
