Bella rolled over and sighed.
"Ugh....what time is it?" she mumbled quietly.
Sitting up, she looked over to the window and blinked as the bright sunlight flooded her vision.
"Oww...oh no! I'm supposed to be at school!"
She jumped off her bed and ran to the closet, throwing on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. She then slipped on a pair of shoes and ran down the stairs, grabbing her keys as she went by the kitchen table, where Charlie was eating cereal.
"Why the big rush Bells?" he asked, not bothering to look up from the newspaper he was reading.
"Wha...?" Bella looked down at the date on the newspaper and sighed. "Nothing. I thought I was late for school that's all." Sitting down at the table, Bella made herself a bowl of cereal and chewed it slowly.
"Alice called. Said she wanted you to spend the weekend at her house. She's coming to get you in a little while." Charlie said, finally looking up from his cereal.
Bella nodded her head and hurried to finish her cereal so she could go pack. ((sorry about the long-ish post))

Alice hummed quietly to herself and took Bella's porch stairs two at a time, when she reached the top she let herself in and called out a hello to the occupants.
Charlie came to the entry, where the smiling Alice stood, "Hello Alice!" He smiled.
"Hey Charlie! Is Bella ready yet?" She asked, smiling.

Bella jumped down the last two stairs and walked towards the kitchen.
"Hey Alice. That was fast. Then again, I just woke up so....yea."
Grinning sheepishly, Bella gave her dad a hug and a peck on the cheek before walking out the door.
"I'll see you Monday after school dad!" she called over her shoulder.
Beelining for the yellow porche, Bella pulled open the door and climbed in.

Alice smiled at Charlie, "Bye Charlie, I'll bring Bella back on Sunday!" She reassured him in a cheery voice and walked ot her car. She slid in elegantly and looked at Bella, "So, what would you like to do this weekend?" She pulled the car into gear and swung out of Bella's driveway.

"As odd as this may sound.......I actually wanna go shopping this weekend. Not to mention spend time with all of you." She looked over at Alice, waiting for the huge hug she knew she would get, whether she wanted it or not.

Alice squeeled with delight, "REALLY? You're the best Bella!" She reached her arms over and hugged Bella, then quickly turned back to the steering wheel. "This'll be so so so exciting!" Alice smiled and her porsche hit 100 miles an hour; she took a sharp turn perfectly.

Bella chuckled nervously and shifted slightly in her seat. "I get the fact that your excited Alice, but could you slow down just a tad? You know that I hate it when you guys go this fast."

Alice laughed musically, "Oh Bella, you know nothing will happen." All the same, Alice slowed slightly and kept driving; she was extremly excited to be going shopping with Bella. "So, what brought this...Shopping crave on?" She asked innocently.

Bella shrugged and looked out the window. "I'm not really sure. I guess it might be the fact that I'm actually starting to like it after being dragged through the mall by you so many times." She laughed and looked over at Alice. "So, do you see anything bad happening this weekend?" Although she was merely joking, Bella was still curious to know.

Alice clenched the steering wheel, "Just...uh...Someone Edward used to know is visiting the house..." Bella's simple question had stressed Alice so much that little half-moon marks appeared on the steering wheel from he fingernails.

"Huh? You mean somebody from the group in Denali? That will be fun! Why do look so angry all of a sudden Alice? Is everything okay?" Bella stared at the steering wheel, noticing the marks left by Alice's nails. She blinked and looked at Alice again. "Alice?" she whispered quietly.

Alice took a deep breath to relax and replied to Bella's question, "No. Not someone from Denali. Her name's Cory, she's from the...Volturi;" Alice cast a quick glance at Bella to see her reaction, "But don't fret, she lived with us before...for around ten years. She's a good vampire, like us." Alice paused her whole speech and waited for Bella to reacte.

Bella nodded. "Volturi....right then. Things will be fine. There's no need for me to panic...." She took a deep breath and calmed herself. "It's okay. I'm fine Alice."

Alice looked at Bella, "You seem too calm...Shouldn't you be trying to convince me to change you before she meets you so she won't rely back and tell them that you aren't changed." Alice was taking deep breaths, in fact, she suddenly thought that she probably shouldn't have said any of those things...It might just make Bella freak out.
