It's after World War Four, ((yep four) and the human race has been almost destroyed. The world is war torn, however since most weapons have no one to work them, most have fallen into disrepair, probabaly for the best. Humans have become very primitive again, living off of the land, much like our ancestors did. One might say life has started over on Earth, and nearly everyone has forgotten the ways of "modern" war. So, you are part of a tribe, living in the future, though as though you live in the past. What do you do, how do you survive, there is acient technology from the times of war all around you, do you dare try to use it?
The land is slowly going back to normal, the forests and plains have covered buildings, plants cracking stone and weather rusting metal away, the world is teeming with life again. The once great city or New York has been over taken, now a great forest, paved streets cracked and covered with vines, tall buildings crumbling birds roosting in their upper stories. A lone statue of a woman (lol statue of liberty), maintained by a few human cults is one of the great goddess of the land. The oceans are clean, as is the air, and rivers flow where trains once ran. Where do you fit in?

I'll be using Meki in a diffrent form because I'm too lazy to come up with a new character for this... Please make note that all character should be human or animal... no demons, vampires, or other such mythical creatures.
mekatra sighed, picking up her bag of herbs and continuning into the forest, eyes on the path in front of her. She had to finish collecting the herbs before her master got angry and her lessons were postponed again. SHe had spent nerly four years learning herb lore, and now her master ws not going to let her become a herbmaster because she hadn't pleased him when he asked that she abandon her own village.

Val was asleep aginst a tree, he looked rough. he was a mercinary of sorts, helping people with whatever he could...for a price. he heard somthing aproaching and opened his eyes.

Mekatra frowned, noting Val, but deciding not to talk to him. He looked like a traveler, and if he was he would surely come by the village wouldn't he? She yawned, stretching towards the sky with a lazy yawn and putting a few more herbs in her basket.

Val watched her for a while as he thought about talking but decided to head to a near by town.So he got up and started walking away.

Maki watched him carefully, blinking and sighing gently. She shook her head as he walked off and went back to gathering her herbs, making her way to the town.

"Not unless you want to take up farm work... or maybe serve as a guard for someone traveling. We don't have much for money around here... so if you got paid it would be in food..." She said and then looked away.

"Not sure." She said simply and then looked him over. "If you disturb the peace they will sacrifice you to the goddess..." She said simply. She was one of the ones that didn't worship the Statue Goddess. She went for the Earth Mother.

She actually let out a giggle when he said that and then she nodded. "It is fun." Was all she said and then walked into her home again.
