I know there is a sub-forum about harmony flutes but I wanted to make sure people saw this....
I'm wondering if any of you have tried out the Pearl PFP-105 Piccolo. I am looking into buying a piccolo and I saw a few good reviews but I want to see if anyone here has tried one out before I go to the store thats far away and trying it out. Please let me know it you liked it or not.

is that the piccolo without the lip brace thingy?
if its that one, i've tried that!! My 2nd flutist uses this...(too bad he cant play it in our orchestra..tch...tch ) its good!! i loved it!!
but the low notes sounded a bit weird >.<
what i liked about it ;
1) the keys were comfy 3nodding
2) its one of the easiest piccolo to get tuned! (yay!)
what i dont.. ;
1) as i said..the low notes were weird....
2) playing without the lip brace took me quite a while to get used to.
(i dont know about you...) xp

thanks for telling me about it. yeah, I asked my teacher about it and she said that wave thingy was kinda weird and the old piccolo that we had at my school (before I got there) had a wave and the students didn't like it. I keep forgetting to ask my band director if its still there so I can see it...
