I've pretty much mastered guitar, drums, and piano. So I wanted to try bass out. Does anyone have any advice. Oh and are bass guitars compatible with guitar amplifiers??

It's probably not in your best interest to use your bass on a guitar amp (and the same applies vise versa). Though it really depends on what type of amp you have to be honest. Some guitar amps use speakers that can handle bass frequencies but most can't. Also, the speaker enclosure can have a huge impact as well, as playing bass through an open back guitar half stack will be a lot easier on the speakers than if you were to play through a 10" combo speaker.
All in all, I personally wouldn't risk wrecking a guitar amp with the power that is Bass. Peace!
