Story line and magical powers

A school were magic can not be learn out of books and scroll but is located in the soul and improved though training. You are staring the first year at this school; Charters can be of any teenage age and still be in the same year.

The basics of magic. I this world you can only be human. Your soul however is in the shape of an animal. This animal can be Mythological, can come from fairy tales or an improvement of a different animal, you can also just have a frog. These souls can have one shape. They have a colour. ((I would like it if you would write you posts in this colour.)) And an element, for example a Frog will be water and a bird will be air, fire is rare to find. If you wondering what element your animal is just ask.

There are 3 stages of power one you human state, this is when your powers weak but can still do damage to an opponent and cook good fish. The second state is when your body is half transformed, like a ware wolf or mermaid. This is when your power is stronger than the first state embracing the magical soul allows you to adventure more power. The 3rd state is when you’re fully in your souls animal form. This is when you can only use your element attacks. Or your element based spells. Your power is strongest here.

The schools system is easy. You are put in groups of 4. Each group will have a room to them selves. You will be in charge of you own learning and timetable. There will be no teachers. In each room is a bookcase of stuff you need to know. You will learn with your group and train with them too. The oldest member of the group is in charge.
You have dorm rooms that you can decorate how you like.

I’ll put you in the groups so don’t worry. I will also but a list of who’s stronger based on the animals and elements you’ve chosen. I will post the time every so often so you know what time of day it is. I hate not knowing what time it is.

Personality: Aurora is brutally honest, yet very sweet. She will try to comfort you, in a way, when she tells you that she hates/loves/envies/wants to murder you etc...
She's also got a ruthless edge. Her innocent looks give her that 'innocent personality', right? WRONG! There's no need to explain though, what happens when most outgoing people become upset? They go on an ongoing rampage. Which is what Aurora does when angered. She gets easily jealous and won't deal with anyone's crap. She's the type of girl that can handle herself, but she likes to pretend to be the 'damsel in distress' to get a guy's attention. To add to all that, she's flirtatious, coy, modest, trustworthy, and truthful.

THe school looked pure white. The gates were made of fine gold. The cortyard was full of students. Most of them sat in groups under the large oak trees. In the middle of the courtard was a large gem, Vains of silver and gold had grown into the gem. The jade stone was bright with so many colours. Pinks, Purples, green, blue, red. Any colour you may begin to think of. This was the monument of The Jade Stone School For Sorcery.

Midori looked around the grounds, "Hey is anyone from group D here?" She looked round again. She was standing at the front of the main entrance. "Hello, group D?" She wore the normaly school uniform for the school, a shirt with four long tales and a red skirt. The boys normally wore a white shirt and black trousers.

Aurora stood at the main door and leaned against the wall, just outside the school. She wasn't really looking for anyone to talk to, but when she heard the girl looking for Group D, Aurora quickly reacted against her will and followed the voice.
Soon seeing a girl she waved unenthusiastically and attempted a smile.
"Hello.. Looking for Group D?" She asked solemnly and stopped about three feet from the girl.

Aurora glanced at the girl, bowing before her and decided it the proper thing to do to bow as well.
She bent forward slightly, and when she stood straight a smile stretched across her face. This person looked strikingly gorgeous, almost like a girl... but there was something about her that made Aurora think she was a boy. It confused Aurora somewhat, but then she quickly extended her hand to the girl before her.
"The name's Aurora.. you are?" She asked quickly.

A look of terror crossed Aurora's face.
'A. . . guy. I knew that. How stupid!'
With her free hand she smacked her forehead slightly and looked back at this man.
"It's -- nice to meet you."
Aurora smiled and shoved her free hand into the pocket of her revealing camoflauge dress.
