((I went home and passed out! I got my kitty though! 10 month old little Siamese named Poe. He's a cutie.))
Izzie was startled into consciousness by the sound of her alarm clock buzzing in her ear. She fumbled for a moment before hitting the snooze button on top with a loud FWAP! and rolled over to sleep a few more minutes. Outside her bedroom window, she could hear the faint sound of the cows in the barn. "Just a few more minutes..." What sixteen year old got up at the crack of dawn and milked cows? Honestly. Still, she wasn't going to complain, it wasn't something she minded. And afterwards was the daily walk in the thick woods that bordered the edge of her family's property. The alarm went off again, and Izzy groaned and rolled out of bed. She rubbed her eyes a few times, then put on some dirty jeans and a sweater, along with her worn out boots and headed downstairs and out the door.
Milking was a task that required little to no brain power, and since she had been doing it most of her life, Izzy was mostly asleep during the entire thing. But once she stepped outside the barn, and blinked at the sun that was just beginning to peek over the horizon, She took a deep breath, and with a smile, headed down to the woods.

The shadows in the trees moved, the area had an orange tint to it from the rising sun. They moved even though the air was still, not a single breeze to even toss a single leaf. There was a single girl there, red hair falling down her back, black feathery wings spread out from her back slightly as she hunched forwards on the ground, carving something into it with an old looking dagger.

A young boy crouched in the shelter of the thick forest, black hair and clothes helping him blend into the remaining shadows, watching the red haired girl silently. Bright blue eyes glinted out from a pale face, curiosity on his expression

Izzy shivered and drew her arms around her chest. The air wasn't particularly cold, but for some reason she felt chilled. She hopped up and down a few times to warm up a bit, but the cold still lingered, and she walked on down her normal path, though she caught herself glancing back at the way she came, more than once.

The red haired woman started mumbling to herself. The area was quiet enough, barely anyone was ever foolish enough to venture into the forest. The dagger made soft scratching noises into the dirt before she gave a small satisfied sigh, pulling her hands away to admire the small carving. A spell was worked into the ground, a small summoning. A few words came from her lips, mumbling again as the lines glowed faintly.

After watching a few more minutes, he finally emerged from the shadows, slowly walking over towards the winged woman, curiosity still on his face. He looked about twelve, perhaps a bit younger, one brow arched as he watched, voice soft butnot quite timid as he finally spoke "...Hey....What are you doing?"

The leaves crunched beneath her feet as she walked, keeping a brisk pace, a little bit faster than normal. She wasn't sure why, but something just didn't seem right. Her instincts were telling her to turn around and go back the way she came, but at the point she was at now, it would take longer, and then she would be running late for school.

She looked up at him, a brow raised as the spell lit up her face a faded blue. "Hey... you're a kid.." It was mumbled slightly, something forming up from the lines that she carved into the ground, it taking shape, moving slowly as it formed.

He glared at her in irritation, straightening up some, trying make himself look taller, shoulders stiff under the black button up shirt "I'm not as young as you would think."

Izzy stopped. Voices in the woods? Technically this was a forest preserve, but the only easy way to get to this part of the forest was through her family's property. Hikers never came this far. She crept up a little closer and crouched down, trying to get a closer view as to who was there.

"You look like a brat." A smirk came across her lips, watching the boy. "How long have you been watching me now?" The thing before her came to life, sprouting out wings, it's eyes glowing a faint red before it hovered and took off, nearly plowing into Izzy.

"Long enough to see you arent human" he glared at her still, crossing his arms over his chest, eyeing the glowing thing warily, jumping slightly as it took off. His eyes widened some, looking a bit impressed "....What is that thing?"

Izzy was too shocked and terrified to scream. Instead, she let out a little squeak as she fell backwards onto her behind, eyes wide. Dreaming? No, she didn't think so, her rear end was resting on a rather sharp stick, most dreams didn't have those. She mumbled a few incoherent words, unable to string together anything intelligible.

"A summon." Her voice was soft, standing up slowly, folding her wings against her back. "The wings alone say I'm not human, unless I'm some rich ********." She smirked slightly watching the boy, looking about sixteen. "Though, better watch out, someone might go and take you for a toy." She was teasing him, eyes drifting off towards the forest as she raised a brow. "Annnnnd." She walked over then, to the girl that had toppled over. "People shouldn't pry."
