It seems like a good idea to introduce ourselves so we all know who's who. And, you know, to spread the love and fraternity/sorority before the first contest puts us at each others' throats.
*sign against evil*
I'm Aldorel, your Captain. That shortens to Al, or Aldy if you don't want to use a guy's nickname. I am in my senior year of High School and it's a high-intensity blast. I started out with Greek Myth and Fairy-tales as a kid, but branched out to all sorts of world mythology. Besides that, I like writing, music, dance, biking, and most sports that involve going someplace rather than scoring points. My favorite color changes from week to week.

Hi, I'm Mcfeegle. I'm a Freshman taking several advanced classes. I am a fan of Norse Mythology and will probably create a thread in Chaos of the Void where I can be totally insane and fanatical in my support of the Norse Gods just for fun. I like reading, writing, anime, manga, coloring stuff on photoshop, acting, directing, music, and other stuff. My favorite color is green. My favorite foods are potatoes and waffles.

Hello, peoples! I'm Turquoise Dragon, but as that's a pain to type you can call me Turq. I'm currently a senior in high school. I first became interested in mythology as a small child when I fell in love with dragons and other mythological beasties. I also love all kinds of world mythology - Greek, Egyptian, Irish, Norse, ect. Other hobbies include reading, writing, drawing, walking, and watching Star Trek. I consume massive quantities of Goldfish crackers daily, and my favorite color is turquoise. (never would have guessed that, would you?)

Hello! It's nice to meet you, Turq. Goldfish crackers are really good, though I don't eat them very often. Seems like all of us here so far are writers. What kind of stuff do you write?

'ey, all! I'm Na, and it's nice to meet you. -^^-
I'm thirteen years old and live in the middle of nowhere, Utah, in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. I get confused when I can't see any mountains because I can't tell what direction I'm facing. I cana get just about everywhere because I've memorized the locations of the mountains. Other than that, I can't do geography worth squat. xD
I've been on Gaia for a long time, spread between three different accounts. First was Tohru-chan_online, then Torina42 (whose name was changed to Natorei). But, recently I was 'temporarily suspended' because I was under thirteen years old. So, I lied about my age and made this here account.
My interests include online junk, strategy games, roleplaying, D&D, reading (SF&F), writing (from short-stories to novella, so far), editing and reviewing other's writing (PM me, be all means!!), just about every mythical creature out there, and Pokemon. My favorite colors are blue and green, followed eventually by purple. Those at the bottom are orange and yellow. Even though I love to golf, I'm not a physcal type of person, but I do like to be outside and things.
As for my appearence, I'm almost five feet tall, and I have brown hair and glasses. My eyes are blue and I'm as skinny as a stick. I haven't tanned or sunburned since I became immune to both at age four, so I'm pale. I do, though, have freckles.
My first contact with Mythology came... a long time ago. Among all of the others of my age, I consider myself a rather dependable authority on Greek myths, and I'm currently harboring a large interest in Norse myths. That was, admittedly, mostly because of a story Feegle is writing. My favorite god(dess) is porbably... Artemis and oddly enough, the world snake. xD
Nice to (re?)meet you all! <3

Nice to meet you too! I mostly write science fiction and fantasy stuff - so far all I have are short stories and lots of unfinished projects. Usually I end up drawing characters instead of writing about them, which is fun but highly unproductive. I hope to someday muster up enough determination to write actual books. What about you - what kind of stuff do you write?

I write mostly Fantasy, but the ocassional sci-fi. I write short stories sometimes, but I work on novels more. Not that I've actually ever finished one. sweatdrop I probably don't write as often as I should, but I think about writing all the time. Something really exciting will be happening in real life, and I'll just think, how could I write this as a scene? Where would it work best? How would I describe this stuff? etc.

I think more than write too. It's so much easier to plan out plots and scenes in your head than it is to actually get them down on a page. By the way, I love your Nac Mac Feegle avatar!

Na - You like D&D? Do you have a favorite character concept, or are you one of those "try everything" types?

Hello there everyone
My name is Alex, and I'm Aldorel's personal Hate-On-Edward sidekick in real life. One day long, long ago, our debate ended with her chasing me through a playground. We're a little more civilized now, and draw pathetic doodles during health class to show how deeply we care for our dearest friend Edward :] Anyways, she was kind enough to send an invitation to me to join her new guild, and here I am!
Um, I really don't know what to write here. I've been on and off Gaia since '04. After I went through that phase where it consumed my life for a time, I had to back away for a while. I do try to get on at least once a day for a short time.
I'm a senior in high school. My AP classes are slowly sucking the life from my body. And I like to play with Paint Shop Pro.
I'm rather partial to Egyptian mythology, but I don't think I know quite as much as anyone else, but I suppose that's fine whee
