To Be A MalfoyJade Malfoy, A girl with shoulder-length white-blond hair and crystal blue eyes; was standing on platform 9 ¾, by herself with a small tote bag strapped over her shoulder. That tote bag was all that she had left of her belongings after her home was raided by her own family, or at least who she thought was family...Death Eaters. She watched all of the happy families saying their good- byes as their children boarded the train bound for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She couldn't help but think about how she would have been going to Bobaton's Academy for Young Women if her parents were still alive. She was supposed to be staying with her Aunt, Uncle, cousin, and twin siblings but knew her Uncle would have tried to convert her to the dark side. But then again, there is a lot she was supposed to be doing.
'Damn, I'll probably see them here,' Jade thought,' and I'll see Draco all year...self righteous little-' she couldn't think what else Draco was because an eleven year old little girl with way to much energy was wrapped around her so tightly Jade couldn't breath.
“OH my gosh Jay, Where have you been, I missed You!” Jade saw the excited little girl gazing up at her in sheer happiness at seeing her big sister. It was jades little sister Gemini. She had similar features as jade except her nose was a little pointier and her hair was a darker blond.
“Missed you too sis, where's Aries?” Aries was Gemini's twin brother. He looked just like Gem besides he had more masculine Features.
“He's over their, with Uncle Luci.” Gemini pointed in the direction of a man with white- blond shoulder- length hair hair and who looked just like Jade remembered him. With his air of superiority bubbling around him. It was her Uncle Lucius standing next to her little brother and Aunt Sissy. But someone was miss.
Out of no where, a sly hypnotic voice came up behind her. “Well, if it isn't my little cousin Jade.”
“Ugh,” Jade mumbled, “Hello Satan.”
“Don't sound so pleased to see me.” Draco said putting and arm around Jade's shoulder and pulling her in the direction of his father. “Father will be glad to see you.”
“Oh goody.” Jade groaned reluctantly letting herself be tugged in her uncles direction.
“Father, Look at what I found!” Draco exclaimed. He stopped in front of Lucius so that Jade was right in front of him.
“Thank you Draco. Jade, may I have a word with you alone please.” He need not say more. With a flick of his blond hair, he set off in search for a more secretive place to speak with his Niece.
Jade knew it best to follow him so she did just that. H e stepped behind a stone pillar making him disappear from sight. As Jade inch her way around the pillar, two strong hands grasped her by the arms and forced her against the pillar.
“ You ungrateful little brat. When you parents died, they left us you and the twins for US to take care of you, and you running off like you did could have been a grave mistake if I hadn't stepped in. The dark Lord wanted you killed as well but I persuaded him into letting myself and Your Aunt take you and turn you for the Dark Side-”
“Don't you mean they were murdered? My parents were killed by the very thing they worshiped, same as you and the rest of the family. You'll all go down the very same way in the end. Or insane in Azkaban when you are found for what you really are, Just like Aunt Bella. I'm never joining 'The Dark Side' So don't bother trying to 'Turn me'. It won't work.”Jade said calmly, as if her Uncle wasn't squeezing the blood out of her upper arms out of sheer rage.
“You will never speak of the Dark Lord in such a manner, do you hear me?” It was the first time jade had ever heard her Uncle speak with such urgency in her life, “You do not know of the danger you are putting yourself in.”
“Personally, I could care less. Cause really, what else could he do to me?” Although she knew there was much more The Dark Lord could do to punish her, she wasn't going to let her Uncle know that she knew exactly what he would do.
A whistle blew signaling the trains departure. Jade knew she had to end this conversation, so she broke free from her Uncle's grip and sprinted to the train as it began to move. She jumped in to an open door and saw the look of contempt on Uncle Lucius' face as the door slammed shut.
****************************************************************
Jade trudged down the corridor trying to find her siblings in one of the compartments. Unfortunately she had no luck in doing so. Finally she found a compartment with very few people inside.
“May I sit here?” Jade asked pointing at a seat right next to the door. She had a feeling she had walked into a very serious conversation judging by the looks on the three occupants faces.
“Er, Sure.” A pudgy boy with dark brown hair sitting back down in his seat after being on the all fours on the floor. He was clutching a struggling toad as it was trying to get away from him.
“Thank you.” She sat herself down next to a blond girl who was reading a magazine named 'The Quibbler'. Although strangely...She was reading it upside down.
“So, uh...I don't think I've ever seen you around school before. Whats your name?” A black hair boy with glasses asked with a look of familiarity dawning on his sharp features.
“Well, I used to go to Bobaton's Academy but then I uh...moved here.” Jade was uncertain on how these new people would take learning her reasons for really going to Hogwarts so she just...stretched the truth a little bit. Besides, thats the Malfoy way.
“Oh, so whats your name?” The blond girl finally said something as she was still reading the magazine upside down.
“Yeah, sorry. I'm Jade Malfoy.” She said plainly, but judging by everyones expressions she could tell something was wrong.
“What did I say?”
“Nothing, its just...Are you related to Lucius Malfoy by any chance?” The boy with glasses asked.
“Uh, yeah. He is my Uncle, Why?” Sadly she knew where this was going and didn't like it one bit.
Just then, they had a few unexpected, and unwanted guests.
“There you are Jade, I've been looking – why are you in here with these freaks?” Draco was standing in the compartments doorway surveying the the scene before him. Draco's crony's, Crabb and Goyle, were behind him and his creepy little girlfriend, Pansy Parkinson, was beside him with her arm wrapped securely around his own.
“Well, Dumbass, it's called there was nowhere else to sit and these three were nice enough to let me sit with them!” Jade said standing up and looking directly at him with a look of pure loathing.
“You can't talk to me like that. You're living with me until you come of age so you better be nice, or else you'll be living on the streets!” Draco said smugly while his three shadows laughing stupidly.
“Jokes on you Cuz. Where do you think I lived this summer? It certainly wasn't with you lot. The streets are way better then that ******** house.” Jade spoke with such loathing that Draco just glared at her without speaking a word.
Finally draco spoke. “Father will definitely hear about this.”
“Oh i'm so scarred, he'll tell Dark Lord Moldy Shorts that I'm a bad girl!” said Jade Quickly growing more furious by the minute. she now stood glaring at Draco wand pointing at his chest, “Whats he gonna do? Kill me? I don't even care anymore, have a go at me. I frankly don't give a damn. Now get the ******** out of here before I curse you to the next century!”
"Malfoy, what the hell do you think your doing?" came the angry voice of a bushy haired girl barring the badge of a prefect as was Jade's cousin and the red haired boy that also had joined in on the argument.
"I was just having a chat with my baby cousin here." Draco said ruffling Jade's hair, while Jade tryed to pull away with all of her hair folicles intact, "She seems to have weaseled her way into your group of blood triator friends here somehow. I'm just trying to help her find her way back to the right people is all."
"Draco I swear if you keep this s**t up i'm going to tell your father dearest what you and that ugly bat did last summer. I'm sure when he hears that he disown you like he did me...or worship you...depends on how I tell the story..." Jade then stood and pondered the outcome of the even in question and wondered if humans can really bend that way, which made her completely frget her present situation.
"Hello?" Jade jumped as someone waved a hand infront of her eyes drawing her back into reality. She looked to see every eye was on her. "What?"
"Please get out of our compartment." The bushy haired girl said through gritted teeth.
"Huh?" Jade was totally confused as to what had happened that she was just blind sighted with this request.
"You heard her, GET OUT!" the red haired boy finally spoke as he glared at Jade.
"Okay, okay. Jezz!" Jade grabbed her few belonging and stormed out of the compartment. As she past Draco she hissed at him," I hate you."
As she walked down the corridor Draco shouted back to her," "You don't need to be making friends with mudbloods and blood triators any way, your a Malfoy for Merlin's sake!"
