Greetings,
I was wondering if you guys think its possible for vampires to have children. I don't think so, but I'd like your opinions.
Yes, I do think they can still have sex, just not children.
Just wondering cause Im writing a book. (fiction)

It depends on what legend(s) you're going by, if the notion of vampires having children would benefit or hinder the storyline, and things like that.
I have a (veryvery dead) RP guild in which the vampire race (affectionately spelled vampyre) can, in fact, reproduce the "old fashioned" way, and their biting in fact brings about a very different turning, not what most people are known to see biting as.
But, that's just me. In the end it's your story, and so long as you take everything into account, you can really have it go either way. ^_^

yes they can have children exept that they are not the average vampires like you abd me they are pure blood and very strong. it takes centuries to make a single child

well from what i understood, vampires and lycans both can reproduce naturally, without bitting and turning.
my take on this is because they were originally human therefor still have their reproductive organs, seeing as thier digestive tract was changed for blood.
i have heard that vamps can only reproduce with humans after they have recently fed as well. also according to the underworld storyline, they can reproduce with themselves as well as lycans creating possible hybrids.
so really what it comes down to is what do you wanna to do with your story.
