At our last FRG meeting, we were told to expect our boys to be on a plane the day after Christmas! because they're supposed to be "boots on the ground" by the 1st of January. That really sucks! Especially for all those guys that have full families that they can't visit in their home states. They all still get Thanksgiving for block leave but I'm not so sure they'll have much to be thankful for this year sad
Granted, I've had time to cope and 'grieve,' if you will, about my husband leaving, but that's just too heartbreaking for me. This is going to be the last Christmas I spend with him and it will be overshadowed with the cold hard truth.
P.S. What do you guys think about him wanting to try for a baby during his mid-tour leave?
He's stated a rule of, "no more BC pills once I leave for Afghanistan."
