I am your angel of music... i've asked this around alot on msg boards, so maybe my phantom phans of gaia can figure it out!
Anywayss..So, in the final lair part, Erik is forcing Christine to either marry him and let Raoul free, or choose to love raoul, but then he dies. There's a part where Erik sings "So do you end your days with me, or do you send him to his grave?!" I thought that if she ended her days w/ erik, then rail did go to his grave. And before anyone posts "its SPEND not END" i've read the lyrics in the script for the play, and i've also sped it up/slown it down to see if i could figure out the lyrics. its NOT spend.
So, Thanks for reading my rambling question (^)_^

Come to me, angel of music

Look at them squirm like worms in mud, Blaming a ghost who's flesh and blood. Crossing the line, tossing the dice, Making decisions and paying the price. Ummmm... no. Erik gives her two choices: to stay with him forever, or to have him kill Raoul. He'll probably keep her either way, but that's what he's referencing. If I were really a ghost, my dear, I'd find a better Hell than here! -Erik, The Phantom of the Opera, Tom Alonso

But in the song in the Final Lair, he says "So do you end your days with me, or do you send him to his doom?" maybe i'll just have to ask andrew lloyd webber wink

Look at them squirm like worms in mud, Blaming a ghost who's flesh and blood. Crossing the line, tossing the dice, Making decisions and paying the price. You're not listening to what I'm saying.
"So do you end your days with me": Erik keeps Christine with him but lets Raoul go "or do you send him to his grave?": He lets Christine go free but kills Raoul
When Raoul says "Say you love him and my life is over", it means he'll probably kill himself if Christine chooses to go with Erik. But he's making that decision on his own. That wasn't part of Erik's question. If I were really a ghost, my dear, I'd find a better Hell than here! -Erik, The Phantom of the Opera, Tom Alonso

"So do you end your days with me" He means will you live with me forever... as in when she dies, she'll still be with him.

He's also singing something just before you hear him say, "His life is now the prize which you must earn!" But with all three of them belting at once, I never understood what. Anyone know?
