In Deathly Hallows there were some small hints that the Lovegood's could be directly descended from Rowena Ravenclaw. Some of the hints were: they had a eagle door knocker (because if they are descended from Ravenclaw then this could be the family crest), Xenophilius Lovegood was remaking the Rowena bust and diadem, Luna's mother seemed like she would have been a very smart witch, and they also seem to be true Ravenclaw's.

I think at this point, it's a bit inconclusive. Xeno and Luna seemed to embody the Ravenclaw Ideal. But honestly, I don't think Ravenclaw and her daughter had any children. The Grey Lady dying due to the Blood Baron and such...

i kind think that they are. It kinda would be nice and maybe people may stop picking on luna.......well only just a little bit.

i agree with the whole 'no decsendants thing.' but maybe they are vaugely related. Like an great-great-great-great-great-niece or something. i think it could be probable, but it is vert unlikely that they are directedly realated.

seeing as helena(or the grey lady ghost of ravenclaw) was the daughter of rowena and all,she did die thanks to the bloodybaron and she didnt have any children,so it seems highly doubtful that luna and xeno are related to ravenclaw,and if they were,it could be distant bloodline or something.....
