Yes, there IS another remake of the Live-Action of Cutie Honey, this time on TV! For me, I'm actually wanting to see this, because they have Honey looking like Honey (short-hair and the 'signature' outfit, unlike the movie counterpart with was okay....), and I'm hoping it's a little more better then the Cutie Honey movie.
The most 'greatest' part in the casting, we have our two GARO veterans 'Kodama' (Mark Musashi) and Tsubasa (Yamamoto Shouma) playing in there as Duke Watari and Hayami Seiji. I'm kind of also hoping that the other cast of GARO (such as Konishi Ryousei, aka Saejima Kouga) come in as guest appearances or something...
I hope I can see this on the video channels when it comes out.

Considering how cool GARO was, I'm definitely interested in seeing this Cutie Honey remake. I wasn't a big fan of the movie, as I'm not really into shojo or any of that stuff.

I saw the first episode some days ago (the RAW is out, I hope for a sub soon!).
It's actually...not exactly 'shojo' per se, since Go Nagai is the guy credited with nude-female sexy transformations. XD
But now, you literally get plenty of seeing Honey 'somewhat' running naked during her transformation sequence. And, a whole lot of 'perverted' innuendos, but that's beside the point.
I'll try not to give much away, but all I can say is... it was a fun (but wow... psychotic somewhat...) episode, though Honey's appearance was late! crying
But, our Shouma/Tsubasa is actually, really good as Seiji in this. I'm actually starting to love the guy.

The only time it WAS all shojo-ish was when it was 'Cutey Honey Flash' (the style of the anime is really similar to Sailor Moon also...).

Ultimate girls is somewhat of a parody of Ultraman... Wikipedia During one of the many monster attacks on the city where the story takes place, Silk Koharuno and her two friends attempt to get closer to the monster to get a better view. Unfortunately, the city's protector, UFO-man, comes to the rescue but inadvertently crushes the girls to death. Feeling sorry for what he had done, UFO-man blames their deaths on the monster and promises to bring them back to life by lending them his power. However, now they must become the city's protectors as well. If that sounds like shojo, it isn't. The anime is completely fanservice. How? When the girls go giant, there's a little problem. THEIR SUITS DETERIORATE UNTIL THEY'RE VIRTUALLY NAKED. Even more scary, guess what these girls are nicknamed by the town? "Big Boobs," "Little Boobs," and "Loli." When I watched the anime for the first time, I was scared. Everyone is perverted in it. Not just Jiraiya-perverted. More along the lines of Nanjiro Echizen-perverted.

Trust me... you don't WANT to see Eiken... in fact, reading the synopsis about the show itself was way worse then... hearing about people actually sitting through it. @_@;
Back on topic:
Second episode of Honey was pretty funny. Poor Seiji being poor and having to pay off his debt... XD
At least the transformation sequence went a little faster then the first. And, the 'games' seem to be getting interesting, and possibly a bit more sinister.
Now... I just wonder when will Honey STOP getting 'defeated' by that (actor who was Kaxia in Kamen Rider Faiz, I think??) This is the second time she fights him, but gets beaten up herself! >_>;

I finally saw the first episode and I see the point about fanservice, though it's really not that big. I like this way more than the live-action movie, that's for sure.
