There's a little place called Mojos, in town about 25minutes away from where I live (walking slowly), one half is set out in a cafe layout, with artwork for sale on the walls and under the glass tables. The other half sells cds/dvds/videos/tapes and records, plus a few signed instruments hanging from the ceiling. The guy who works the till has a dog, that is also usually curled up in the 'Blues' record section.
The menu for the cafe looks strange at first glance, but has a variety of foods and drinks, and all named humourously(sp?) after different music-related things. I ate there the other week, and it had to be the most mouth-watering and satisfying meal I have had in ages. Fairly cheap, considering the quality and amount of food for a single meal, too.
Just wondering if anyone else has been into a place similar to this, with it's odd assortment of things, and whether they enjoyed it as much as I did or believes food and otherwise ought to be kept seperate ?
-Sorry for the long fairly pointless post..just interested in what people think etc.

Ah, being an artist, that sounds awesome. There's a place kindaaa like that in my hometown. It's in the artsy part of town, and it's a music venue, car wash, laundromat, bar, restaurant, and playground all rolled into one. The fish tacos are pretty killer, and it's all sustainable, organic local food. Heaven!
