I think we need a thread for riddles. Cuz they're fun. I've already posted a few in the main thread, so I'll avoid those for now. So, first, it's some really old ones.
Alive without breath As cold as death Never thirsty, ever drinking All in mail, never clinking
Ah, this riddle brings back so many memories.

That was one of the ones in the Hobbit, wasn't it? I know the answer. Should I say? That would ruin the fun of someone else who might want to puzzle it out.

Creek..Feet That was one of the ones in the Hobbit, wasn't it? I know the answer. Should I say? That would ruin the fun of someone else who might want to puzzle it out. Guess they figured it out anyway. T'is a fish. I loves the Hobbit riddles. My other favorite: What has roots as nobody sees Is taller than trees Up, up it goes And yet never grows? Of course, if everyone here's read The Hobbit, these riddles might not be worth posting. >.>

You know, my first thought was "an elevator" but I'm going to say probably not.

A mountain.
And, I'm just guessing, would the next answer be 'eggses'? Or time or teeth?

Keeko1642 A mountain.
And, I'm just guessing, would the next answer be 'eggses'? Or time or teeth? Maybe if I could remember those riddles... or took the time to look them up. And I could find lots more if I cared to return to that dreadful place I came from...
