yami's my comfort role, but i guess i could give him up this once emo

i have no problems being Yugi, that way we could get the RP started and not have to worry so much on waiting for a third party

yeah that would be awesome. but it would be ashame to let this RP idea go to waste waiting for people who may not come cause the most awesome roles are already taken....not to mention, this guild isnt too active crying there are a few people like you and hikaripup but i guess its sorta lacking a bit *shrug*

[man i was confused at first, cause you started writing for yugi, but then i realized you were just getting the story started and i stopped being confused xD]

The moment Yami left his post outside the window, Yugi opened his eyes once more, still feeling as if someone was watching him, and it startled him when he thought he heard or felt that someone move. being a hunter, he was always on his toes, his senses high, making it not so simple to sleep. and now with his impending mission ahead of him to kill the vampire lord, his senses were going into over time. every movement or air made him jump. he knew the imfamous lord had some idea that he was coming for him, meaning the element of surprise was gone, and he had no doubt that Yami would probably take him out before yugi could try and set a finger on him. so he just had to be ready for that vampire to try and take him out.

like stated before, not an easy night sleep for yugi.

[btw dukes jap name is otogi ryuuji and im prolly gonna steal a side character just so i can do stuff xD just like you did with seto]


"come out you vile creature!" Yugi yelled, crossbow in hand as he aimed for the trees for the target he couldnt see, considering it hid so well in the shadows.

"not tonight aibou. i know you mean to kill me, but not tonight." a deep growl could be heard in the trees behind yugi, making him spin around, almost losing his balance on a rock. "tonight you're mine..." the deep voice came from behind as yugi's head was forced back and another arm wrapped around his torso, holding him tightly against a cold body. A sinister hiss came to his right ear and yugi's eyes opened wide, knowing what was to come next.

"AHH!" Yugi sat up in his bed, covered in a cold sweat. damn those nightmares. he stared blankly at his bed sheets in thought. he wasnt ready for this assignment. Yami was too strong and he knew it. why he was put on this assignment over someone like marik or joey he would never know. those two were pumped and ready for anything.

he glanced at out the window.

he knew that last night someone was watching him, he just knew it. with his luck it was probably the vampire he was going after now, yami. meaning yami knew he was going after him, know where he lived, and knew about his grandfather. all things yugi needed to take in account when dealing with this one. Yugi heard stories about Yami. he was cunning and manipulative. he has taken down some of the best hunters of all time by using something dear to them against them.

"damnit."

he growled as he layed back on his bed. he wasnt going to school today. who would go to school today with a mission like this to prepare for? his grandfather understood, and if his teachers knew what he was into, he knew they would understand. he had a lot of planning to do tonight.

[ok if thats the rule with marik and malik...then the one i was talking about was malik not marik. lol]

The sun was setting and Yugi had just said his goodbyes to Jou, honda, anzu, ryou, and otogi who had just come by to give him his homework he missed from that day in class, not to mention share their good wishes on his mission tonight. they all hoped yugi could finish this one in one night, but who knew. tonight might be the start of things.

yugis plan was different then what they hoped for. tonight he would call yami out, try and get a feel for him, and go from there. this might be a two night mission, if not more. he had planed this out all day up in his room. if yami was indeed watching him last night, there was no doubt in yugis mind that he would tail him again, perhaps even attack. using that knowlege to his advantage he would lore Yami to the park, nice open space, little shadow in which the vampire could hide, that is if the weather was on his side, which it was supposed to be. Yami would be completely defensive. yugi could get a feel for him, break down his defenses, possibly make yami become offensive, break that down and find the others ultimate weakness. if he was lucky he could do all of that before sunrise, but he didnt plan on it. Yami was smart, and cunning. he was a high ranking vampire after all.

yugi chuckled to himself. that was why he was assigned to this mission. muscle and a fighting spirit werent completely necessary for this mission. you needed youre own wit, brains for this character. yami would just anger jou and malik into a blind rampage and kill them right away. yugi shuttered at that thought.

he had to finish this as soon as possible. he didnt need anyone getting hurt. no one other then yami.

yugi packed his bag full of everything he could possibly need. everything from what was writen in fiction and yet to be proven to work on vampires like garlic and holy water to everything that was known like silver bullets and stakes.

he got dressed in his hunting uniform, merely his excuse to dress in his favorite clothing without anyone looking at him funny. a black tanktop with a silver cross on a pure silver chain that hung in the middle of his chest. a pair of leather pants that clung to his legs like a second skin. a pair of boots, a collar around his neck, over the cross necklace, cuffs around his wrist, one hiding a depressing reminder of a few years past, and leather belt.

yugi paused in his packing, and looked at his right wrist that was hiding his painful memory. two years ago now, he learned his fate as a hunter from his grandfather. he didnt want this life, but he had no choice. he tried to get away, but unfortunatly, people loved him more then he wished, and saved him from himself. now he was stuck here.

he sighed, shaking his head lightly, ignoring his scar once again and picking up his fathers old gun, now filled with silver bullets ready to go.

his father died in the line of duty, killed by a vampire himself. yugi never knew if the vampire ever died, but he swore to get revenge once he learned the truth of the matter. after all for the 5 year before he learned of vampires and hunters he lived under the knowlege that his father died in a car accident. now he had a reason to live, kill the one who killed his father.

now it was time. he left his house and walked down towards the park, waiting for his target to arrive.
