Normally fire and ice counter each other, stopping each other on the spot and destroying themselves, the tower though is an unusual exception. The base of the tower starts off as any other tower, but about a third of the way up it separates into two parts that spiral around each other, travel up one side and you’re liable to freeze to death, travel up the other and you’ll cook. It is said that somewhere in Havencrest are the ingredients to counter these effects and search the tower for some of its amazing artifacts and maybe even reach the top where something truly special awaits. The two peaks of the tower are separated by a 100ft gap over unimaginable drop, from one peak a trail of fire, from the other a trail of ice and where they meet, is a something. Unable to scale the tower scientists have tried to fly up there the their air ships loose power and plummet, winged creatures have flown up there only to have their bodies dropped back to earth, their wings torn from their backs. Perhaps the mystery truly dose lie in the two towers and one day somebody will come who can who can make it up these towers.
Note* For now it will remain impossible to scale the two towers, even creatures and daemons that specialize in ice or fire can get so high before they can’t go any further. Feel free to RP and make failed attempts but for now don’t crush the story line that’s going to appear at some point, lol.

Those at the Tower's Base
 Pyre Landis
(Mascot of Wind and Fire)
Pyre is the oldest of twin brother and sister. She has devoted her life to celebrating the fire aspect of the tower and tells the tail of travelers that have tried and failed to scale it's fiery climbs. Rumor would have it that she has attempted to ascend the tower herself and has survived, but she will not tell her own tale no matter how much people pay or beg her. An expert in acrobatics and song she performs with her twin brother outside of the towers entrance every day.
 Aqua Landis
(Mascot of Water and Ice)
Aqua is the younger of twins brother and sister. He has devoted his life to celebrating the arctic aspect of the tower and tells tails of those who have tried and failed to ascend its frosty heights. Aqua will spend a lot of his time heckling and goading warriors, challenging them to climb the tower, it was him that let slip of his sisters tried and failed attempt to scale the tower but refuses to mention it again. An expert in magic and an exquisite player of the lute with his twin sister perform and play outside of the tower everyday.

Bianca heard about the tower and is excited about the prospect of being able to prove herself. She starts up the tower, on the icy side, slipping and sliding, but making progress, her Dark Elf heritage making her immune to the icy grip of the tower walls. Facinated onlookers look up from below. She allows herself a thought that maybe, she can do this thing. The tower narrowes. Soon, she is forced to move to the fire side because of the tower getting too thin. she climbes and climbes and is only ten feet from the top when she starts to feel a burning sensation on her legs. Her Fire Demon powers make her partially immune to fire, but the tower's magic and her prolonged exposure to it is too much for her powers. She looks down and gulps at the sight of the ground far below. She has no choice but to jump, or else she will burn to death. She jumps... and lands on top of Russell. Her tough bones and Russell's bulk absorb most of the impact, although Russell doesn't look too good. " Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" she shouts. She grabs his head and casts a healing spell that will last until some professional healers get a look at him. He is still unconcious. She is faced with a hard decision..... take the wallet......or don't take the wallet.....take the wallet,.....or don't take the wallet. She sighs and places his wallet back next to him. She feels awful, but takes a few pictures on her cell anyway. She hears him groan, and tiptoes out of the yard before he can wake up and see her.

Joey had been watching the girl since she began going up the towers. The second she tried to get away Joey ran over to her, and as if by acccident plowed into her, knocking them both down. "Oh, I am so sorry." he said, his lying extreamly evident. and then again, laying it on thickly and slowly, "Oh my... What has befallen our poor Russel on this day?" He half shoved the girl towards Russel's unconsious body. "you wouldn't mind helping me get him home would you?"

Bianca looked frantically at Joey, then at Russell. Um..Sure. I mean, OMG WHAT HAPPENED! Is he all right!? Sure, I'll help. She grabbed his legs and Joey grabbed his arm. They walked toward the healing house, Bianca trying to ignore the stares she got from the townspeople wondering why she was dragging an unconcious body across the grass.

 *Gabriel came walking leisurly down the steps of the fire side of the tower a look of annoyance on his face, his black sword slung across his back.* " Shold have expected I'd need some sort of freakin key to get through the last gate. Oh well next time I'll get what I need before I try to scale the damn thing again." *He muttered to himself. He was seen entering ten years prior but has not been seen again till now. The boy then ran to the Tainted Cathedral. *
