Lyann stood at the edge of the stream and admired her profile in the water, turning her head this way and that to decide from which angle she would look the best. She took a tentative step back as her hooves started to sink into the soft sand, wrinkling her nose a little at even the tiniest of dirt stains and rubbing the sand off onto the soft grass nearby.
She wasnt a fan of being grubby, and in her eyes, it made her less mature to wander around in a state that wasn't her best...not that she did anything like that of course.

Kibostu: Was walking around in the shadows he was not at all up to his best and playfull self. Too many things were happening with himhe wanted to run away and just try to make things right with his mother. But not even she was getting better Kibostu needed to make things better for him and his mother. He though to go and try to get flowers for her. Maybe that would cheer him up.

It was then that Lyann saw them. Roses. Blue roses. There was no bloom she loved more than blue roses, partly for their rarity, partly because they were so rare, so hard to find in this particular dark blue shade. Shaking her coat, she let glitter dust the roses, making them appear rarer and more beautiful than before.
"Lucky is the mare that receives a blue rose.."
She smiled at her handywork, snorting at one rose to space out the glitter some. She brought her father blue roses one spring, had cut her mouth something awful for her troubles though. But that showed him just how much she loved him. She missed her mother....but of course, mother wasn't about much these days at all. Lyann emitted a sigh and clipped a few dead leaves of the bushes with her teeth.

Kibostu: Looked over and over throw the dark forest for the entry to the meadows. Not even the red nose he had inherited from his father was glowing. As Kibostu walked and walked he found the opening to the meadows. He then came out of the shadows and saw the flowers many were blooming but as his eyes loomed he saw a pale blue equus also in the meadows. He nickered a "Hello* to the mare wondering if she may notice him.

Lyann nearly jumped out of her skin at the soft intrusion into her thoughts. She turned quickly, her lithe frame able to move far quicker than those of her heavier kin. The mare looked the newcomer over before her eyes settled on his nose, that bright red orb that jogged something in the back of her mind. Something about yule tide...Christmas, she pushed it back and addressed the young stallion in front of her.
"Greetings! I didn't hear you walk up...your feet must be as quiet as a predators."
She studied him further, drawn almost to the sorrow that seemed etched into his posture, his eyes. He was not upright and cocky like most of the stallions she had met of late. No. This one had something on his mind....something weighed upon him....
"Who might you be?"
She spoke with words soft and reassuring, so that he would be comfortable and uninhibited.

Kibostu: Looked up witha smile. He tried to be perky and walked over happily to the mare. "My name is Kibostu. I am the son of Atriposti and Kibeth." It is very nice to meet you what is your name Kibostu asked trying to not look distracted.

Lyann offered a graceful arch of her neck before shaking sparkles from her mane. Putting on her best smile, she introduced herself with a flick of her tail and a toss of her mane.
"I am Lyann, daughter of Alex and Aliana-Rae! It's a pleasure to meet you Kibostu...but my....why are you alone out here today? Is there no one for you to walk with?"

Kibostu: Walked over he then looked to the filly and said "Its nice to meet you Lynn you have a very bueatifull name. And to awnser your other queastion no I dont walk with anyone really no one cares for me cause I carry the blood of a vampire and also look more like a raindeer. My father has left me and my mother alone. I tend to my mother on my own and try to make her happy but it doesnt work much. But yeah I have always been alone since I was little cause I am different." Kibostu said with a sigh his nose not even shineing or any part of him shined with his thoughts takeing over his mind again.

Lyann tilted her head a little and smiled slightly, scuffing her hooves, looking as though she were tap dancing a little in place. She appeared to be the stallion's opposite in her mood.
"I know how you feel....my mum doesn't see me and my dad anymore you know..."
She looked to the roses and then to Kibostu.
"You know, you might be able to cheer up your mother more than ever if you take her one of those."
Lyann gestured to the blue roses with a toss of her head, looking back to him with a smile.
"I bought my dad one once, and it made him happy because he knows how hard roses are to pick! You never know, if she cheers up, you might do to.."

Kibostu: Looked to the blue roses and smiled "I have given her some of these I always pick her the blue and white flowers. It seems to cheer her up but she suffers from the same loneliness as me we both dont have many outside friends." Kibostu picked up the roses his mouth then showed his small vampire teeth and the scars of the roses thorns on his mouth. He then looked over to Lynn "it seems if I had a better day and my family be happy I be as cheerfull as you. But nothing seems to go my way lately. I just wish things be like the old days." Kibostu said with a small smile and small tear comeing from his eyes.

Lyann startled slightly at the many scars on the stallions young mouth, and the sudden tears that lost themselves in his dark blue pelt. She frowned some and gave him a friendly buffet.
"Well, you have me as an oustide friend now mister Kibostu. That's one reason to cheer up right? Hey....what does your mum like more than anything?"

Kibostu: "Yep so it seems" he aid regaining his stregth a bit and smileing. "If I know my mother like I do she likes roses but thats not cheering her up much lately. She seems to be slipping away more and more from me and my love with each day of loneliness that passes." Kibostu looked around I think she likes more then anything is to find friends and also to have someone care for her like my father did." I am not sure what else Kibostu said feeling a bit better slowly but surely as he talked with Lynn.

Lyann pranced a little in place, picking up on kibostu's lightening mood and pleased that she had managed to at least cheer him up a little. She thought carefully about what to say next, thinking up a plan to make his mother happy again. A sure fire plan that couldn't fail.
"What if I bought some people to meet your mum? Wouldn't that be neat? I mean, she'd make loads of new friends, so maybe she'd cheer up a bit afterwards. What d'you think? I mean, might not be able to find her someone like your dad, but I can get her friends! Definately!"

Kibostu: Looked up cheerfully thank you Lynn I liked that. He then turned around as he noticed his nose begin to shine some more. He then said "Sorry sorry my nose always begins to shine when I am feeling happy and it always blinds others darn it nose shut off." Kibostu said trying to not let Lynn see the brightness of his red nose.

Lyann grinned like a cheshire cat and trotted round him to get a look at his nose, hoping to see the thing shining as he said it did.
"Come on! Let me see! I wont laugh! I bet it wont blind me either!"
She giggled and continued to try and see. She did not do so out of a want to be mean, only out of pure curiosity, having not seen something so unusual before.
