Well, I have been busy taking care of my boyfriend cause he got into an accident, and to pass the time I started playing the Fiesta game that was in an ad here on Gaia. I find it fun and entertaining. But now, I barely come to Gaia anymore. Gaia just doesnt seem to be that interesting anymore. I come here for the daily chance MAYBE once a week now. The storyline is starting to suck(Lets face it, vampires and ware wolfs? Its been done a million times.) , they arent having as many (good)events anymore and the n00bz are just nerve wrecking.
Question:
How many of you would admit that you are losing interest in Gaia fast?

Anywho... I really wouldn't say that I'm loosing interest in Gaia. Do I find the surge of n00bs infuriating? Yes. Do I resent Gaia's increasing commercialism? Yes. Do I feel that they are becoming more and more of a business, ignoring their members to garner further profits? Without a doubt. And yet, this is still home to me. I enjoy this guild and find it to be more of a family than anything else. So, though the site may be deteriorating, I really can not see myself leaving any time soon.return 0;

I'm sorry to hear about your boyfriend. Gaia is starting to annoy me more and more. They'll spend time making features that we don't want, but won't add a few more mods...

But yeah, I do know what you mean. World of Warcraft has seriously been taking over my online life. (And my real life... ^.^) It ish fun. I used to go on Gaia for some intelligent discussion in the ED, but I can't very well do that anymore... ^.^ Seriously, have you guys SEEN it recently? I just browsed out of a "Hail Hitler!" thread. GAH! It makes me CRINGE!

That's really nice of you to take care of him :] Hope he'll be alright.
There are lots of things I don't like about Gaia right now, and lots of things I do. Storyline is lame and it feels to "complex" since they're all these clues, and more keep coming out, so the exposition will last far longer than it should. I DESPISE the constant sponsorships that turn announcements into ad boxes. I hate the tax, I hate the style of the new art, which seems to me has no emotion, or soul. Oh, and the fact that there is no weekly comic anymore, and the ones that come out are half assed.
I love the people (some of them), this guild, commenting profiles, playing cards, avatars, events (don't you dare say the water balloon fight was bad).
Scraps; I know, the bigger Gaia grows, the worse the forums on the top get. Look at most of the ones lower down the page, they have much more quality, and discussion their is much more intelligent.

Skizio don't you dare say the water balloon fight was bad Sorry... it was bad. Like, really bad. In fact, it gets my "Grade A pile of s**t" stamp. And yes, I am getting very frustrated with Gaia... this is the first time I have logged in about a month... the noobs and plain commercialism piss me off. I don't wish to spend my time on a forum that annoys me, so I limit myself to NIPG guild. To be honest, it's the only place on Gaia where I can interesting and decent conversation.

...when you're cut short of misery. Last time I was in there, there was a ton of white pride threads. I never bother now, except maybe with the psychology and sociology subforum, but there's never any worthy topics. I usually just stick to the guilds.

I get extremely angry at this site all the time. It's swarming with n00bs and becoming an ad trap. The only reason why I come online is to make my avatar look awesome, post on my roleplaying threads with my friends, and come on this guild. I get bored quickly and wander away to other sites, but I will never 'quit' gaia. I will keep my account for ever, 'cause that's what I do. I will come back from time to time for a long time.
