Hey like well i was invited probably about 5- 10 minutes ago and I was just looking through the forums. Now im not slating anyone but i have a serious question
Why are there so many threads with very little posts?
Once you start one don't leave it for dead. I'm a guild owner myself and it looks messy and well all that hardwork goes to waste for nothing

My rp Titled (Massively creating) is still in a testing phase. The story it self is not complete. But it will be done soon.

Because there isn't very many users. It's a new guild.

Maybe a way to tidy it up a little bit and make it look better, would be to make sub-forums for different types of RPs. For example make a Sub-Forum titled Slaves and Masters, and have all the slave/master RPs in that sub-forum. Then people who enjoy those types of RPs can easily find them, and they may live longer. Yes I noticed that the oldest thread was only a few weeks ago if that, but my sudgestiong cleans up the main page and leaves it free for Guild contests and announcements. In effect making it easiler to navigate the guild.

In effect making it easier to navigate the guild. That will come with time, people, and more activity. Right now, I don't quite see the purpose yet. Don't worry. It will all work out in due course.

Under normal circumstances i would agree with you Sierra, but i would have to agree with o0Kaena0o because the guild is just getting started. in due time, it will get easier to navigate but for right now, it is pretty good.

The reason I personally find is no one is making anything too interesting. At least, that's why I'm not quite in anything. My role plays have been removed, most likely due to inactivity brought about by my time that is spent between school and my extremely busy time in Barton town. Some people can't get on, some just don't have time... some people just can't write in general. No offense to any out there.

Well, here's my two cents on the Guild itself, and let me be brutally honest here....
This Guild masquerades itself as a haven for serious, literate RPers. But that's really just a facade. Now I was quite flattered when I received my invite to this Guild, but at the time when I was first invited, I was too busy in Barton Town to really check the Guild out. So when I decided to make an RP of my own for the first time ever, I decided to put it here, so I could contribute to it somehow. Now that I've spent some time here, I find that only a select few of the population are made up of these, "serious, literate RPers". It seems to me like the Guild owner just went around recruiting random people, and didn't take much consideration into their actual writing abilities. Now look, I'm no grammar Nazi, stickler, or pretentious snob when it comes to things like this ((I have far from perfect grammar myself)), but this RP just simply isn't what it presents itself to be. And what it presents itself to be is an elite group of serious, literate and skilled RPers. How then, does a 12 year old girl ((who isn't even of legal age to be on Gaia)), who can't type out more than 2 lines of vague text riddled with spelling and grammatical errors, get into this elite group? She had to have been invited, because if she applied, she would have fallen flat on her face when she had to fill out the, "Background on literacy:" section. So my only guess is that whoever is recruiting isn't really paying much attention to the post content of the RPers they invite, nor are they taking any consideration of the supposed "requirements" for this Guild. This isn't an isolated thing. I've surfed through the threads, and stumbled across a lot of RPers in here who can't even use complex syntax.
My suggestion is, you either change the misleading Guild description, or start kicking people out.
Another problem is that I don't find many of the RP's here particularly interesting. But that's just me; everyone has their own tastes and interests... That said, I did find one RP in here that caught my eye, but when I sent the RP author an inquiry about the plot ((so I could create my character accordingly)), I never heard back from him, and his RP completely sank into oblivion among the others shortly thereafter.
Bummer.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, Stranger. There's but one thing I have to add (right now)
School uniforms. Characters cannot be "free spirits" if they go to a school that requires uniforms. It simply doesn't happen. Ever. So stop claiming that your solitary free spirit can get around at least decades of tradition. In actuality, students that wear casual clothes to a uniform requiring school are quite often punished/sent home.
