As I said in the "THIS PISSES ME OFF" thread. It is time that the ones of us who value our culture and our existance go against the norm and do something good to get the collective image up in the minds of the average person in a positive manner.
There are too many of us that embody what the website in this post discribes.

Anyone have any ideas that may help the gothic culture come into the light as people instead of the vampire murdering death zombie satan worshiping baby eaters that the few of our number are?

If you have ideas you would like to contribute then you can post them on this thread. Or you can send them to me to keep your ideas anonymous.
Organisation is key to a revolution.
Read through the ideas and tell me what you think and tell me your own.
If you would like to organise outside of gaia as well then another place where many congregate is facebook, nexopia, myspace, and some just over msn.
THe more recruits we can get the better chances of success.

Ideas:
1. All goths go to soup kitchens and help serve food to the homeless.
2. We gather in a major populace and protest something meaningful or we all line up to support children of other countries
3. Each of us adopts a child of another country through the adopt a child agency.
4. Each of us becomes big brothers and sisters? (my logic explained in another post on here)

Any other ideas?

i agree and that website just ******** pissed me off se pend all that stuff on us she just took a b***h load of subcultures and branded them goth just from that site i can tell shes catholic in her 40s most likely republican and if theres a hell shes going straight to it but in other matters i request that as many members post on gaia about the empire and that either a couple crew members or the vice captain make lesser guilds to back up the empire and to physically expand it ill post if i have any more ideas.

I apologize, but it doesn't piss me off.
Sad, and a little annoyed, but not pissed off.
Ignorant and stupid are just two words to describe the authors of that load of crap.

Typically I don't get mad at stupid/ignorant people.
I become annoyed by them, I feel sorry for them, and then I attempt to educate them.
Some people refuse to be educated. Then that's their business.
As long as they don't have any hold over me, then I take a back seat view cause I really don't care.

However the overall idea of having goths help out in the world is not a bad one. I would encourage people do help out. But then, I encourage everyone to help out. Not for the sake of looking harmless, but for the sake of helping out. The world is ******** up, everyone should be helping to make it better, not just goths or christians.

And for the record, I don't claim to be goth. In reference to myself, I dislike labels of any kind.
