Contagious Cure 70spunker Linkin Park and Tom Delonge I hope you're kidding. I second this hoping... sweatdrop My List: Aaliyah, Billy Paul, and Frank Sinatra. Now the first two are somewhat cheating but they are more r&b than soul, which while it causes them to use a lot of soul are not artists who rest on soul. R&B is another debate....Frank Sinatra, on the other side of the same hand, has a not-too-heavy natural emotion or harmony that he seems to create as he goes along in his songs, which is what I consider 'soul' to be in any sort of music. 3nodding

Nice choice. For me it's John Owen-Jones and Johnny Lang. Billy Joel is great, too. Quote: Frank Sinatra, on the other side of the same hand, has a not-too-heavy natural emotion or harmony that he seems to create as he goes along in his songs, which is what I consider 'soul' to be in any sort of music. Great point, Frank Sinatra does have a natural emotion in his songs.
