Okay, so sometime around last year, I began writing a story about twin vampires-in-training who were sent to massacre an entire school in order to become full vampires. It was supposed to be a horror/comedy story. In the end, I couldn't even finish the second chapter because it the characters all became unrealistic, the plot wasn't sticking together, and I couldn't think of anything, and the ending I'd planned was just plain weird.
I've started re-writing the story. I re-did the characters and took out a bunch of conflicting facts and even an entire main character. But I still don't have an idea for the ending, or where the heck I'm going with this.
Should I give up?

Just write. See where the story goes. Don't think about the ending, think about what happens next. The ending will show up when it's time.
