Okay guys, it's time to get back to being active in here! I know school has started for a lot of you and it's taking up more and more of your time, but that doesn't mean you can't contribute to guild activity! All we need is a bit of time every week.
SO I am proposing a new... "game" of sorts, to help get you guys get back into the groove!
It is your job to challenge EACH OTHER. This will be an ongoing game, for whenever we feel like shaking up someone's world. We all get stuck in ruts sometimes, sticking to the same techniques, the same angles, the same styles. We don't always notice it, but our peers DO. So now is your chance to call them out on it.
Here's how it works: at the end of your post, you'll post something you challenge on another member in the guild to do. Like, "I challenge Duke.Lychee to take a photo of something he's never thought to photograph before!" or "I challenge El Moo to take one photo every day for a week!" Then they will post the results of their challenge, to prove they're up to it! And at the bottom of their post, they tag someone else with a new challenge. So it will continue on as a game of challenge tag like that biggrin
So I'll go first!
I challenge Watercolor Bliss to post a completely unedited photograph!

Hey queenotheworld, not to be pushy but... if you're not going to accept the challenge, just say "pass" so that we can challenge someone else and get the ball rolling a bit.

I think I'm going to just open it up and say that anyone can challenge anyone else whenever they feel like it... just post them here and our guild mule will let them know they've been challenged and they can post their answer here if they so choose to accept it.

Wow, Saltwater, that's not really all that messy.
Anyway, I'd like to challenge [Girl Hearts Crayons] to take a picture with no flash, 1/60 shutter speed, and f4 or higher. Indoors.

Ooouch. I was so good with that, until the "indoors" part. Challenge accepted, hopefully I'll have a chance to do that sometime today.

The color in that image turned out really vivid. What lens did you use? I'm going to guess a macro somewhere around 105mm.
Also, what kind of lighting was used?
