ALRIGHT, everybody, we gots a way to go before this guild can be up and running again, but I believe we can do it!!
We need to delete old threads and start new ones, as well as bring back old members and recruit some new rpers as well. I have an rp I'm in that has a bunch of pretty spiffy rpers that I can invite.... But I want to hold back from it until we actually get this ball rollin'...
First, though... Does anyone have any new rp ideas?? o.o Or any requests for the resurrection of old ones?? ^^;;

Okies.... here's a couple things I'm just throwing out. They may be completely and totally too out there/vague and whatnot to actually make an effective rp out of (it's been a long time since I've last made one ^^;; ) but... I dunno. Just to get the ball rolling. sweatdrop

Idea #1: A girl sleeps, and a portrait is made of her. Little publicity was made from it, but for the few who laid their eyes on it, their lives were changed forever. Upon seeing this lifelike portrait of this sleeping girl, people's realities seem to twist, and things considered myth come to life. They begin to see the glimmers of faeries, hear the howls of werewolves, and feel whispering winds of mystical lands from afar. Reality in the world is twisting as magic begins to spread thickly across the land... The problem is that only those that have seen the portrait know of this. And only they seem to sense what danger is lurking ahead. (Sorry, mind went blank after that)
Er, this rp is mainly about reality becoming fantasy and whatnot. The viewers of the painting not only witness these unseen changes, but they may even get to change themselves. Will they embrace it? Reist it?? Or will they try to find the meaning behind all that is happening?? And why is the city so bathed in fear, now?? This rp's for all races of all kinds. Anything that has to do with reality twisting is perfectly fine and... yeah!! xp
I dunno, it just popped in my head this morning. ^^;;
Erm..... Now that I think about the others, I kinda wanna wait until I get them detailed enough before I put them on here. o.o;; But another thing we could do is re-launch that "Hero Tales" rp that inspired Shadeo and me to start this guild in the first place. biggrin It has absolutely NO plot to beging with: we just create our characters in this complete fantasy world and let the plot develop on its own from there. 3nodding

I've been sitting on some ideas. Idea Title: We Kill Heroes About: "When you take another life, you can never be the same." It's a cut-throat world, and everyone is a cut throat. Though the world functions smoothly, once you end someone's life, your reality becomes filled with casual murder and an underlying code that dictates how this madness carries on... Information: The idea is that, the world is sorta boring and normal, but if you kill someone, the underlying magic to the world takes effect on you. People forget your original name, and you gain super human abilities, which usually just manifest in increased speed, strength, intelligence, etc. depending on how they made their first kill, but can give people unique powers if they killed someone in a particular way. Afterwards, all killers follow like an unwritten code of the killer, like a bushido. I thought of this idea while thinking of samurais xD And my brain has sort of been wrapped around this one idea, with a bunch of different settings using the same general idea out lined int he information.

Hmmmm.... Those both sound interesting, but they aren't relly my type. I mostly go for fighting rps, and war rps usually seem to do well, since you get to take sides and play against other rp'rs. But we would definitally need more peope here before any kind of war rp could really take off.
EDIT: I plan on resuming my three worlds rp, though for the moment I think we should leave it in the graveyard. If it really takes off, then we can move it back to the main forum.

Come, come to the Great Coliseum and cheer for the most magnificent display of battle mastery and cunning tactics that earns these fighters the coveted title of Maverick! Information: Well, this sorta popped into my head when I read High's reply xD Different people fighting, from what ever race, in a very large, organized way that would sorta make it seem acceptable by society as a sport. Was thinking characters would be ranked according to how the crowd loved them and would participate in different tasks that would show off their particular talents. The idea is that a Maverick is like a fighter who fights/acts in a particular way that separates them distinctly from other regular people/fighters. Just post ideas and talk about others, and work on them. That's what brainstorming is : D

The first one Zyxa posted sounded really spiffy!! biggrin I've never been one to participate in collesium rp's, but it sounded pretty cool, too. ^__^
What I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE is for there to be another rp like "Do You Hear Whispers in the Wind?". If I can recreate another scenario like Daires along with the demons being set loose and the characters, that would be INCREDIBLY AWESOME. blaugh
I guess.... maybe we should start off by only starting one or two at a time...?? Joining too many might end up in burning everyone out and having the rp's flicker and die before every setting off.... but.... I dunno.... *has had an uber (spiffy awesome!!) busy weekend.... and this new week is making me completely out of it with all this stuff I have to do sweatdrop * I finally figured out what direction I want to put the Prophesies rp in... but should I still put that in Barton Town, or should I post it in here..??

Heroes aren't born, they're made. And at the Avalorius Academy of Heroism and Bravery, we take the creme of society crop to mold them into the greatest heroes of all time. Information: No particular intricacies to this one, it's a school where heroes are taught to be heroes by refining their particular abilities and so forth. I thought of it when I was at practice, and the quarterback was like "Hey everybody, we got a game coming up, take practice seriously," to which our humongous tackle promptly replied, "Cool your jets, practice hero." I agree. We shouldn't have too many Rps going off at once, or it probably would drain us. And posting it in Barton Town sounds like a good plan. It would be a good way to get the guild name out there and all.

And you guys are right, too many rps would probably be a bad idea.

Hehe, I was thinking that some of the heroes in the school would be corrupted by the teacher of Villain Studies or some such, but that would be a plot developed through brainstorming or actual Rping :3

kk, I'm gonna put the Prophesies rp up tomorrow morning, since I've nothing scheduled 'til later on that day. *going bridesmaid dress shopping* So, CHYA!! biggrin
I really really like the superhero one, though, Zyxa!! Once we start putting the new rp's up, I'll invite a few people I already know, along with whoever joins the Prophesies rp. Hopefully that should help enough to get this place going again... right?? ^^;; Or should there be something else we're missing...?? o__O

Since its just me and Kelina for the moment, it's not quite main forum ready yet, but if we can get a few more people..... Oh, and it takes more than just people to get a guild going. It takes people who POST! No sense in having 30 members if only about 5 of them ever post. And it helps if they have something to post in, too.

And it helps if they have something to post in, too. The more members you have, the more likely one of them will be one of those five who post regularly :3

It sounds super cool ^________^ I'll post one that came to me while I was making parts for the costume I used in my drama presentation. Idea Title: Paper Wings About: "We hope for the impossible, and we when it happens, we realize that it wasn't so unattainable to begin with." In the dreary, boring recesses of reality, people continue to live their lives, tragedy striking the world many times over, one personal disaster after another toppling lives and legacies like building blocks. Slowly, the world deteriorated and became a shamble, a caricature of a post-apocalyptic Earth depicted in those old sci-fi movies. People don't know how it happened. It was like the world just gave up on itself. Now the only thing on everyone's mind is just getting by, just surviving. Although, word travels of a cult that wants to restore this ruined rock we call home by seeking the impossible. Information: Hah, on closer inspection, I realized how similar this is to Prophecies xD Anyways, the idea is that the earth is ravaged from... Well "everything". I haven't decided on the particulars quite yet, like whether I want there to be any magic/fantasy elements I have in most of my other ideas. I was making wings out of cardboard and white printer paper when this came to me. I have also been reading more .hack these days xD
