How many times have you stopped to really watch the colours of your sorroundings and the slight shadow that forms around things? or when was the last time you heard your hearth beat?.
Trouble feeling energys?, just stsrted doing magick and feeling nothing then you could try this...
Sight.- Close your eyes and cover them with your hands for a few seconds then remove them and watch how the colours are strongerand more alive, notice all the shadows that are formed.
Touch.- Give yourself a time to touch things and diferent textures on your skin whlie wearing silk clothes for example. Taste.- Savour everything, try new kinds of food and learn to distinguish between them like cheese or even between coke and pepsi.
Hear.- In a moment of silence hear your heart beat or hear different and new kinds of music with your eyes closed, classical music for example, choose a piece and hear it twice, what emotions are set in motion?,what instruments are there?.
Smell.- When you pass near the city dump you don´t get exactly full with joy do you? then why not try different aromas around your house and see how do they afect your mood.
I belive that in order to feel "energys" you could start practicing with your own senses as a first step to many things like understanding the elements or open the sixth chakra, just to mention some.

Yeah, I've done some of those excercises; some intentional, some without thinking about it.
If I'm in an extraordinarily good mood, I notice the vibrancy of colours, and the shadowing.
The world looks beautiful when it's like that.
Even in the drabness of winter.
Late spring and autumn are the easiest times to take nature's beauty in; noticing during the not-so-nice weather is unique.

that sight excersize sounds interesting... though a little unnerving for me....when i was little i'd have spells of sight where everything i saw looked like it was covered in grung (i can't describe it any better than to use the example of the grung photoshop brushes) it really used to wierd me out cause when it started it took a while to get it to stop...

Drake Ravenheart Hello to all I am sorry for not being online or in the guild until now I have been going through alot lately since the woman I was supposed to marry left me I am currently rigt now trying to find myself does anyone have any ideas as to what to do This is a little off topic but i hope it helps "To look back at the road you´ve walked and where you´re standing right now, helps to see where you´re heading" and by the way have in mind that in a relationship it´s about two so it´s not only something you did or didn´t do wink

I've done that before. it always calms me down and makes me see everything as better than it is. which is a good thing. =]

I tend to do most of that without really conciously deciding to. I love to observe everything around me, so I always try to distinguish sight/sound/smell/touch. I don't do it as much with taste, so maybe I'll work on that. ^.^
