If you got any cool idea about the whole guild, feel free to say it!

Just wondering, as I've seen it in a few Roleplay guilds, should we create a sub-forum for our characters? Or should they just go into the Campeign Sub-forum the belong to?

The campaign subforum, since the guild has several at a time (well, hopefully!) rather than a huge campaign. For spontaneous RP character, it should be in its thread or something.

So can I just make a random thread in the OOC subforum? I mean...it is sooo empty right now.

Should some one create some banners, clip-art/photoshop stuff with "Professional Role Players' Guild" somewhere in the picture(s)? I think pictures make a guild look just that much more professional.

Yea you need a banner!
Some people think that it is a good idea to color code your main threads so it looks all uniformed. You know like use green for titles and yellow for subtitles and black. And then use those colors in banners and such. Not that you would pick those colors to represent your guild but...it was just an example.

You know what I was thinking about...usually it is a big no-no to have tons of subforums. The way you have this set up...if a lot of people end up wanting to make Campaigns...then there could end up being tons of subforums. The problem is...you can't delete subforums.

I hired this guy, he made a nice banner, I promised him more money for a better banner but I kinda lost him. I still have the draft though.

hmmm.... just a thought. You only have three moderators (including you). Can all of them send invites? Since there are not very many people maybe you could add a couple more moderators to "hunt" for new members. Or you could give a reward to those refer members. Maybe monetary reward or a cut in "subscription" fee.
That is unless you want this guild to specifically have a low population.

There is no need to rush to add more people and I personally wouldn't give people I don't know much about crew member status. I think he has plenty to go look at this point. If there was a reward for invites...I would have gotten one already but I don't think that is needed either. If they are searching for topnotch people at first...then it will take a while to really find some that are willing to join. Mainly because...topnotch RPers tend to like where they are and might not want to venture into the unknown. After all, a lot of people don't like change. Plus, if the people already in the guild post often then the guild will stay alive. Just my opinion... Hahahaaa

Question: If we only allow elite RPers (which I take as a major compliment, thank you very much) doesn't that make the academy go kaput (out the window)?

Huh. You've got a good point there.
But I suppose it will also be used to make good RPers better. We may be 'elite,' but we're probably far from perfect. I know I'm not.
