so we've only done rifle so far, we've not even done sabre basics, but now that all our rifle work has been taught to us, so Elvis [our instructor] has started to teach us sabre. He taught us 60 counts while i was away doing flute tryouts in the band room, so i came back, and i was "w.t.ffff?!" so i kinda got taught. This is my first year doing weapon, so it was even harder. Sabre hurts. but it was fun learning it. and he showed us some of the stuff we'll get to do in wintergaurd, which i am so excited about.

ive been on guard for two years and have officially been taught sabre. im really good with a rifle though. our captain this year taught me sabre one day cuz we had nothing better to do and i wanted to learn. good thing too, cuz out of the three of us trying out for captain, im the only one that knows how to twirl sabre. (im no good at it though)

This is gonna be my first season on sabre, too! I did rifle for the past four season. <3 But, we is not having rifles this year. I have sad.
I couldn't do it before because my old isntructor said I was 'too heavy' to spin sabre. Uhm, I'm really not. I'm not that heavy, I'm just not an effin' stick! (no offense to all you sticks out there. xD)
I knew basics. Actually, I know alot of sabre stuff. (My sis spun sabre for three seasons, and my older instructor taught the whole weaponline, rifles and sabres, both weapon basics.)
