Story Premise
An alternate reality...
A heaven...?
A hell...?
This place is what the inhabitants make of it...
An island made of islands, high in the clouds. The elements rule here, the balance is held. Fire to Water, Air to Earth, Nature to Storm, even Darkness to Light, the balance has been kept. Peace rains. But as most often happens, this peace cannot last. The gray mist that has been the center of this balance has begun to stir...
Now is the time of the Avatars and Goddesses. The time for alliances to be made, for the balance of the opposing elements to combine into one...

Map Not the best of maps, but it should work well enough for it's purpose. Each color represents an "island city", each governed by a different element and seperated by a sea of clouds. The Elements are: Earth (Brown), Fire (Red), Storm (Neon Purple), Air (Blue), Water (Aqua), Nature (Green), Light (Yellow or White), Darkness (Black). The Grey in the center is a swirling mass of mist, impenetrable by all until a later time, the home of the growing malice... The mist that strays from the center acts as a curtain seperating Fire, Earth, Storm, and Darkness from Water, Air, Nature, and Light. This is only a slight barrier, though difficult to cross, those who have resolve will be able to pass.

World Explanation
On this "island made of islands" there is a prophecy, that when the Grey begins to stir, that this will be the time for Avatars and Heavensent...
The Cities And Traversing Between Them
Each element "owns" a island city, and each city is inhabited by both humans and giants. In most cities the two live side by side... Though in some the humans serve the giants, as well as the opposite, as is the case in Solania, the City of Light. This city is both the origin of the prophecy, and the supposed starting place of all the Avatars and Heavensent.
The Avatars and the Heavensent are the seekers, their purposes being to enter the "Sea of Grey" to combat the source of the slowly growing unbalance... How this is to happen is still to be found.
The islands are seperated from each other by a sea of clouds, which require specially made "Cloud Skimmers" to cross.
The Avatars and Heavensent
Avatars will take the form of humans, male or female, each with a seperate Element, control of such will grow as they become more accustom to their being Avatars.
Heavensent will take the forms of the Giantess and Giants, also with seperate elements, able to bend the area directly around them into a small pocket of pure energy of their element.
Knowing that the powers of the Grey would eventually run foul, the Creators made the Avatars and Heavensent as a failsafe. In order to make it more plausible for the Avatars and Heavensent to form alliances, they made them all to awaken in the City of Light, Solania, no matter their elements.
Though these beings are made to allie with each other, only one is needed to fulfill the Creators' Prophecy, though it would be nearly impossible this way... Though it won't be simple even with allies...
Making an Pact
Though Avatars can choose to help other Avatars, as well as Heavensent help other Heavensent, the true glory of an alliance is when an Avatar and a Heavensent enter a pact. All Avatars have a phrase (of the RPers choosing) that when said will bind them to the Heavensent, a phrase of great meaning or loathing to the Avater.
This phrase can be said willingly, or can be tricked or forced out of the Avatar, the effect is the same. When a pact is made, the Heavensent obtains the ability to morph into a human form, which also forces the Avatar to a size of only a couple of inches. Both the Avatar and the Heavensent get a great boost of power as well, allowing them to "borrow" the element of the island they are on to use as their own, or mix powers to create other elements. ((Will address this as it comes up.))
It should be kept in mind that though a Heavensent can trick an Avatar into their service, the Heavensent in no way has to except the service of the Avatar if they choose to ignore the Phrase. Only one pact is allowed per Avatar/Heavensent, so choose and speak wisely...
Elemental Biase
As will happen when people are different, there will be unjust feelings towards one another. The City Islands of Air, Water, and Nature are influenced by the Light, and so will be against anything of the darkness, even the Avatar and Heavensent of that element. The City Islands of Earth, Fire, and Storm are influenced by the Darkness, and so will hate the light. Opposing elements will also have great superstitions, fearing the balance of their world will crash to nothing if opposing elements are on the same island city...
The Creators' Mission
The Avatars and Heavensent are to travel to the Grey Mist in the center of these elemental island cities. There is apparently a city of neutrality here, once home of the creators and now left to govern the balance. These mists are impossible to navigate however, so the enemy behind the malice is safe... for now. The prophecy states that the elemental essences must be removed from each city and combined, which should disappate the mists...

City Island Descriptions (More will be added as the worlds open up to the characters, for now, only the Island City of Light, Solania, is available.)
Island City of Light, Solania A place of law and absolute justice, light bathes this entire island city. No one even has shadows in this city, light coming from all surfaces, and the sun never sets. No darkness is tolerated, and though the law keeps people at bay from right out attacking the Darkness Avatar and Heavensent, people here are just looking for the slightest excuse. Giants and Giantess serve humans here, acting as makeshift elevators and taking the place of machinery like cranes and such. With these massive "beasts of burden", the People of the Light have created sky scrapers and monuments of great size. A greatly opinionated people, they seem to be slightly blinded by their beliefs in some instances, which account for the indescrepancies of their socalled "justice", like the enslavement of almost all of the Giant/Giantess race.

Making a Character
PM character subscriptions to me, please! There is one Avatar/Heavensent per element, meaning there's enough room for 16 characters, though I don't know if that many will join, or even if there are that many in the guild who actually RP. If you want and your RPing is up to snuff, you can send in another profile to play two characters, though I may wait a few days until I except the second to give others a chance to get interested and get their preference. I'll fill in who's who when I've excepted the character. The character profiles are as follows: AvatarsGaia Name:RP Name: (First and Last if you could.) Gender:Element: (Obviously what element your avatar is.) Description: (A picture preferably.) Background: (Who your character was just before becoming an Avatar, you can RP he/she's finding out they're an avatar when you start in the RP or in this. Also for your character's personality.) Pact Phrase: (See the "Making a Pact" Section in the "World Explanation" post. ^_^) HeavensentGaia Name:RP Name: (First and Last if you could.) Gender:Element: (Obviously what element your Heavensent is.) Description: (A picture preferably.) Background: (Who your character was just before becoming an Heavensent, you can RP he/she's finding out they're an Heavensent when you start in the RP or in this. Also for your character's personality.)

Characters NPCsThe Grey Description: The one behind the malice inside the Grey Mist. Safe inside this swirling mass of grey clouds, he is impervious to all attacks, at least for now... Goten Description: A very large man, and though he may look all brawn and no brains, he's actually equally smart as strong. Supposedly he wants to help the Avatars and Heavensent to get the Essence of Light... AvatarsMitsotsu Hanuko (Minus the eyepatch and the hook/spike on the boots.) Gaia Name: Mitsotsu Gender: Male Element: Darkness Background: Mitsotsu had never liked Solania. With all of it's pious justice, there were just too many holes. The biggest of which was the fact that the Giant/Giantess race were all but slaves, only a small percent of which actually being able to live life as they pleased. He had vowed to leave this bright world when he got the chance, and becoming an Avatar will be the more than perfect opportunity. Pact Phrase: "I'll be your pet." Lacryma Kayler Gaia Name: AquaMagician Gender: Female Element: Fire Background: Lacryma is usally a jerk. but once you get to know her shes very trustworthy. she carries around Throwing daggers, and her Sword. Can also summon a 10 ft long dragon as needed. Throwing Daggers: http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w14/Clepto_maniac/dagger.jpgSword: http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x114/PeachesBaby1957/037.gifDragon (10 ft long.): http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u11/euphonisms/Dragon.jpgPact Phrase: "If you want a pet/meal then you have to fight for it because i wont just go to my knees a praise you!" Rena Ichigo Gaia Name: Shade1224 Gender: Female Element: Storm Background: Once a mischivious demon before becoming an avatar, She likes to play tricks on people, no matter who (or what) they are. She still has that mischeviousness, and tends to get in troble alot in Solonia, though the punishment isn't too severe. Whenever she tries to cheer up someone or is in a battle, just about anything can come out of her hat. Her battle weapon? A lightning rod. Pact Phrase: "I may be small and cute, but don't underestimate me!" HeavensentHana Rain Gaia Name: Amaya~sama Gender: Female Element: Fire Background: Hana is rather cold to the Light, she hates it. Her kind is strong and tall and they're slaves for little pests. This is how she sees Avatars. Since they treated her with shame and are shunning her, she never got close to any of them. The truth about it is she just wants to get close to one, anyone really. She has been pretty lonely since her parents were killed by the Light Heavenset which made her even more hateful of them. She normally is sitting in the forest, playing with her fire.

Obvious Rules (More may be added as they arise.)
1. No God-Moding. 2. Follow ToS. 3. Keep it PG-13, if you need to go farther then take it to PMs or something. 4. Though it's possible to overpower another Avatar or Heavensent through combat if there's a scuffle, you can't kill them without their consent, and even with it PM me first from both the killer and the killee. 5. Keep it moderately literate, no chat speak and try to spell correctly as much as you can. I'm not saying use a dictionary every time you post, but just try to pay attention.

The mist swirled all around. No matter where you looked, where you ran, where you hid, the mist was everpresent... But this was the way The Grey liked it. The closer you got to this... being, the harder it was to see. The mist seemed to be drawn to "him", wrapping around him until all you could see was his telltale smirk. Of course, those that got close enough to see this smirk never lasted too long, and with the mouth being the only viewable part... who was to say that The Grey was even a man? Or a human for that matter...
The Grey looked out over the river of mist that ran through the ancient ruins of the island he had been trapped on, the same view every day for what seemed like, and could very well be, centuries. He had been charged with keeping the balance of the elements around this island, and had done so quite well, but soon he had... grown bored. Realizing his power had grown to surpass his very Creators, he began to test his powers on single inhabitants, then families, then group gatherings, until he eventually had the whole island in the palm of his hand. Soon all of the inhabitants were smothered in the mist, the smothering cloud swirling out of control until it engulfed everything. The power was even great enough to make curtains of fog to seperate the dark tainted islands from the light.
The Creators had left to a higher existance, knowing, at least for now, that The Grey was still doing it's job. The balance was held. And they also knew that when he eventually decided to topple this balance, that the Avatars and the Heavensent would come...
The Grey showed his trademark smirk; he could feel it, it was starting. He had gotten bored of controlling this island, keeping the balance... But now it would get more interesting, maybe it would finally entertain him...

Mitsotsu awoke with a start, squinting at the light that immediately invaded his vision. The same dream... was it a vision, or...? Well no matter, vision or not he had no idea how to understand it. Pushing himself to a sitting position, Mitsotsu glared at the walls of the room, light seeming to eminate from every inch of them. So was the ways of this city Solania, there was absolutely no darkness... except for him of course.
He had been a fairly normal human of the Light, but soon he had saw this city's flaws, began to disagree with how things were run. The first thing that he, and everyone else for that matter, had noticed was that he had a shadow. In this city it should have been impossible, but yet it was there, following him everywhere. Soon after he had woken up dressed in this garb, not sure if someone had put it on somehow or if it had just somehow grown there. He shivered at the thought of the appearance of his wings, he nearly caused a panic with all of his screaming.
With a slight grinding of his teeth, Mitsotsu forced himself out of bed, his clothes seeming to unwrinkle themselves as he walked outside into the even brighter light of the sun...

The glare of the sun was only of the many glares Mitsotsu got as he walked the grand streets of Solania. They all new who he was, what he was. Sure, their form of "justice" wouldn't allow them to do anything about it, but every one of them was waiting... Waiting for the excuse to retaliate for the smallest of descrepencies, the slightest bending of their laws. For some bringing darkness into this city was enough just cause to lock him away, but being an avatar wasn't a crime... yet.
He walked through the paths in between the sky scrapers, the beauty of these glimmering buildings lost on his eyes. All they symbolized were the human's "superiority" over the giant/giantess race. Even now, Mitsotsu sighed as he walked towards a large open section of the road. Though seemingly unpassable, easily forty feet across, there was a... transport of sorts. Standing in the middle of a deep chasm was, in his eyes, a beautiful giantess. Every few seconds, she would put a hand next to the edge of the chasm, and a few humans would step on. After a few seconds they would be brought to the other side, making a bridge out of the giantess, none of the humans even giving her a passing glance besides stepping onto her hand.
Mitsotsu smirked, these people didn't even know what danger they were in, how easily this giantess could crush them all... But they believed in their laws, they would keep the giantess at bay. Soon it was his turn, and he stepped onto the hand. No one joined him of course, causing the giantess, who had been paying attention to the humans as much as they had to her, to look at him quizically. His eyes met hers as he crossed, a smile crossing his face as the hand reached the other side. "Thank you."
The giantess seemed not to know how to respond, she had never been thanked for her services before. She forgot the waiting passengers for a moment at she pulled her thoughts together. "You're... you're welcome." Mitsotsu jumped of the hand and waved as he walked on, leaving both the giantess and the waiting humans slightly dumbfounded.

((Yeah, I like deep RPs, only like short posts if there isn't much I can do or say. ^_^))
Mitsotsu Looked up at a nearby tree that grew near the chasm. It was strange seeing trees in this city, but many were scattered among the platforms and paths between and on the scyscrapers. Seeing a girl high above, he continued walking, but slower in order to possibly see what she was about to do.

"Okay, let's see..." The little demon was mumbling to herself, pulling off her hat and digging through some stuff, taking something random out occasionally. Sometimes, whenever she gets bored she would either pull a prank, which usually got her in trouble, or digging through her stuff for a kadema, which also got her in trouble, due to loitering. Last time, she accedently left a spiked ball, And she had to hold two pails of water for it. For an hour or two.
"...Rubber duckie, baseball, a mace, my sandwhich, another ball, A couple of... eww..."
