
Tuti had a problem. She'd been out gathering leaves. Not the sort that grew in the trees above, but those closer to the ground. She'd found a patch that looked very soft, the broad, green surfaces covered in what looked like fluffy, white down.
The problem was that the down, though soft, was also sticky. Or rather, it was made up of tiny burrs that hooked in Tuti's fur and stuck fast. Peeling a leaf from one part of her body just meant that it got attached to her hand, or her foot, or her tail instead.
So now she sat, curled up somewhat miserably, with a broad leaf dangling from one ear and drooping into her eyes.
