They have their own songs
They have more fun
Their costumes are original
They have Jack Sparrow!
They find treasure
They have their own flags
They own ships
They have rum
They are free to go where they like and do as they like - they don't have masters
They almost always come back as ghosts
They are great as both heroes and villains
They are attached to other myths - Ghost ships, Mermaids, Sea Monsters
Can be undead - monsters or skeletons for e.g
They have their own unique speech, "yarr shipmate".Why Ninjas are better: ninja
They are paid to kill
They are stealthy
They adapt to the environment
