so this was at the homecoming game (everyone insists that I specify)
me, my friend Sarah, and our three guy friends are just walking around because we're not big football fans
in fact I don't even know the rules sweatdrop
and me and one of the guys are talking about how we at least want to stay virgins until we're at LEAST 16
my friend Sarah cuts in saying 'being a virgin is over rated'
now let me just point this out about her:
she has made out with
*counts fingers*
at least 6 guys since the end of 8th grade, and isn't a virgin (we're now in 9th grade, so basically she pulled all that off during summer vacation and the first month and a half of school)
I'm just standing there like "what?" O.O
"well yeah, it's over rated now a days"
one of our other guy friends cut in (again not a virgin)
"yeah, I prefer whores over virgins"

guy I was talking with: "pff, whatever"

I'm sort of just like
"N-nani?" sad

Then the two nonvirgins go on to making out while I'm sort of still trying to catch on to what they said, the other guy friend yelling at us to hurry up because he's hungry and wants to go get pizza (ewww....pizza.....)

sooo
when did this happen?
when did being a virgin become so over rated?
I thought guys LIKED virgins
dunno to me it's sort of just like I thought a girls innocence was suppost to make a guy want her more, not less

its a known fact. idiots prefer easy over good looking. virgin = not easy. but when you look at it i do know a number of people who go "well i wish my first time could have been something special" it does mean something.

The point the rememberer is that everyone has a different view on whats right and wrong. Some like us believe that virginity is something special and that sex is something that should be done for love. However, other believe sex has nothing to do with love ad is something that shouldn't be taken seriously. There is no wrong choice there is only your choice. Anyone who says its wrong to be a virgin is just a jerk. However, for us to say that sex can't be taken lightly and those how are having it just for the hell of it are wrong would make us jerks also. There is a division between though who do and though who don't personality wise and this causes conflicts but the "whores" or "jocks" believe that they are just doing whats good to them and its not our place to tell them they can't. We can however tell them the dangers of it and why we choose not to, if they don't care to listen then it's there own problem.

So as for your friend, I recommend you just ignor it. If shes says it again just remind her that such things are just her opinion and that yours is differnt.

and to answer the poll it was around the time the birth control pill was invented (1960's) there was a sexual revolution. The hippies had what they called free love, assuming that everyone was in love with everyone else. This lead to allot of huge oragies, eventually folks just lost the value of virginity. At least thats what i think happned

no the babby boom oddly enough was smaller in the 60's. it was more dureing ww1 and 2,

The reason the guy said that is because he's one of the men that make the rest of us men look bad. He's the kind of guy who doesn't care for love, only for sex. That kind of guy is ok when you're making a joke about being that kind of guy, or saying that all men are like that in a joking since, but when you really are that guy then you're just a joke of life. He just believes that life is all about sex, so whores are who he prefers because they're easier to have sex with.

And btw, just to add something to the current topic, the original hippies of the 60's were baby boomers. They weren't the people that caused it, but that literal generation that came about from the sex drive during the World Wars. Hope that clears something up for you.

I think it was around the 20's....you know what they say, the "roaring 20's".....that's when the whole "jazz" thing got started.
