Does anyone know if the english subs on these things are bearable? I've seen some Hong Kong DVD sets around, but $60USD is the average minimum. It isn't a bad price, but enough that I'm hesitant on spending it on something that could turn out to cause eye-bleeding.

Can you tell if Anime or Manga made them? Anime made pretty good subs for Hurricanger. Manga has made the laughable subs of Kamen Rider.

$60 bucks for a bootleg? A fully licensed one wouldn't set you back that much even with dvd extras. eek How big is the set? The entire series?

Oh yeah, and each volume of the R2 costs $95. There are four volumes in all.
Then again I guess that Manga International set does suck since it only has 42 episodes and the entire series is supposed to be 44 episodes. stare

$60 is about the right price for an entire series of anime/toku that's roughly 50 eps. Since fully licensed dvds are only availalbe in Japan and considerabley more expensive bootlegs are the only choice.
Anyway, the Anime company seems to make their bootlegs off the official DVD, my Hurricanger had all the dvd extras.
