Heyo.

I don't know if anyone has posted this, but who else is keeping up on his blogs?

He has 2-- One for his official site [ o-re-sa-ma ] blog and thre's a KAZVKI blog.

kavki 2007

By the way, I chew the same gum as someone in this blog... I don't know if Miyavi himself posted this, because at the end it says "Sarochan!"
Here's my own translation of the gum one(since I'm fluent in Japanese :3 Note, my translations kind of really suck bad... But it's better than what you'd get from GT.)

やべ。ガムきらしちまった..
どっかに売ってねーかなー。
ヴー...サンバデーヘルプミー

ps:
タイちゃん、はよ歌詞仕上げてやー
という事で(タイちゃん忙しいので)お次はSUPER
DUPER HOOFER の..

(Oh god. Yaba is an illegal drug in Thailand-- Yaba.
Miyavi's not participating in any illegal activity... Is he..? o_O)
Yaba. I'm running out of (chewing)gum.
They sell it somewhere.
Vouet... Samba day, help me.

ps:

Thailand-chan, the song lyrics are completed.
Matter said, Thai-chan is hectic, oh! Next, SUPER DOOPER HOOFER

Sarochan!

Yeah, some guy named Saro posted that, so it's him on drugs, not Miyavi<3

Miyavi didn't write yaba, he wrote yabe. It's a slang term that means "This is bad" or "Damn".

ヴー...サンバデーヘルプミー Is also katakana-ized English for "Ooh...somebody help me."

Saro is also Miyavi's tap dancer in Kavki BOIZ and TYKO is his beat boxer who is constantly being lovingly referred to as "Tai-chan". Being that Saro was the last name posted in the entry, it's probably safe to say that Saro wrote it.

D= Honestly, the dictionary or encyclopedia is NOT your friend translating Miyavi. You gotta be on your toes with Japanese slang, katakana, and Miyavi's previous references in order to do an accurate translation.

Also, if you're going to do translations, PLEASE DATE THEM so that people know which one you're looking at.

AAAAAH I'm doing horrbile D:

You see, they don't really teach you slang words in Japanese school.
I only use the dictionary for the words I don't know, not the entire thing
m(._.)m
Anyway, the entry after that one shows Miyavi holding up gum.
Now, if you excuse me, I'm going to go study my Japanese >3>

"yabe" is like slangized of "yabai". Miyavi speaks Kansai, which has some words that are quite different from standard Japanese, but it has a few forms that are also used in modern slang even in Tokyo. "Yabe" form of "yabai" is one of them.

Learning slang can be tricky, but you can get slang dictionaries which help you a little, you can google the word online, and you can just have yourself read a lot of Japanese material or even watch a lot of Japanese programs (anime, dramas, etc.) and you eventually catch on to more slang forms (if you're observant).
