Our recruitment run wasn't exactly a smashing success, but it was fun. Thanks to Weasel_Rocker and Aeriths_Wolfy for participating!
I would like to try another one sometime soon, if anyone wants in, jsut post in this thread.

It doesn't realy matter to me when it is e, but sundays aaren't good for me either, I have church, youth group and girl scouts...
And YAY! Band is so awesome!!

I hear ya there on Sundays... im usually never home ah the dog whistle... i mean the Flute... takes a real strong person to play that, i play tuba, and i was suprised to find that it takes more air to play that small of an intrument then my tuba.

Masticatius Then why are flute players so scrawny? im guessing cause they work all their muscles trying to blow air into that insturment... if thats the case... i need to start playing the flute... i need to lose a few pounds

Hmm... I don't know why but it seems the smaller the instrument the hight it can go. I know I can go at least 5 or 6 lines above the box thing (I;m can't remember what it's called right now...) It's not that hard! Trumpet would be harder..maybe clarinet too.. Tuba is cool! My friend marches tuba since she can't march bassoon.

Yep, a wider container means a lower tone. I used to play Viola. One octave lower than Violin and it was lower. Viola was awesome.
And yeah, these conversations are going to change around randomly. I encourage it. Conversations often change subjects randomly and this Guild is for conversation!

oh trumpet isnt that hard... my bro plays it and i try to now and then to play... but i got tuba lips and tuba lips are to big for trumpet
