Who else is counting the days untill the new codex comes out in January question
Okay, so these are the rumors I've heard.
1) everything is going to be dirt cheap scream
2) everything will have furious charge scream
3) we'll lose choppas crying
4) all guns will be Assult scream
5) feral orks and speed freaks will no long have their own lists biggrin

Feral orks will not be able to be played at all since there's no "cyboars" etc, but you can make a feral ork lookalike list. :B
Speed Freaks won't be needed since the ork boyz can take trukks in their normal entry now, and bikers may be used only if you use Wazdakka Gutsmek.
Now you'll be able to field "Deff Wing" armies by leading your force with 2 Warbosses (a tips form me is using Ghazzie because of his automatic 6" fleet move for all orks and a normal warboss) which allows you to take normal mobs of Nobz or Meganobz as troop.
Choppas are lost since the rule "heavy close combat weapon" will be removed till the 5th edition which will most likely come by the summer in July I belive.
Not all guns will be assult, only the shootas got that rule. :B
Everything being dirt-cheap means we can field more mobs of 30 orks, and if you can't afford that I suggest people start mplaying 500 points only with orks. :B
And changing choppa for furious charge is only good stuff to me, since in the 5th edition you will hit a vehicles rear when fighting a vehicle without WS, and since most transport vehicles (and the basilisk) have armour 10 in the back, meaning fun for the boyz. :B

Orkies are fun but ive noticed not the best shooters...but i guess thats where their numbers come into play XD

My new dream is to create an Ork army lead by a Painboss and Big Mek. They will lead a mechanized horde of deff dreads, killa kanz, and cyborks on a campaign of destruction and conquest that will put the Prophet of the Waaagh! to shame. twisted twisted twisted twisted twisted

xCasaNovax I wanna get stuk in wid da boyz! scream Orkies are fun but ive noticed not the best shooters...but i guess thats where their numbers come into play XD o.O Jon Thats exactly why theres Flash Gitz. What they lack in accuracy, they more than make up for in terms of their slug throwing power.
