Lsorir's dark eyes moved out from the shadows that were covering his tanned skin. They shifted as the sunlight drifted only inches from where his feet rested in the darkness. His eyes could make out the wyrm shifting through the trees, keeping a tight watch on the massive amount of blue scales until he drifted out of sight. It was that time of day, like every day, when Alaois was allowed to wander the woods alone without supervision from his bonded. Alaois looked forward to these moments every afternoon. As his bonded would say, it was a time for him to live and grow in his own ways, to experience things that he could not have if Lsorir was right beside him. But that was not the way Alaois looked at it, he simply saw this moment as a time in which to be free, if only for a few hours a day.
Alaois moved along the ground until he found a spot near the river. He wrapped his long blue body into a coil, dipping his finned tail into the cool water as he let out a relaxing sigh. The temperature was mild even with a direct sun looming up above. It was a perfect afternoon to rest without disturbance from anyone... Or so he thought.

Kaida picked on through the berry bushes, carefully biting into the berries that seemed the most ripe out of some on the branches. She didn't have much of the will to go hunting at the moment and dirtying herself with blood and such. Though it didn't seem to matter much now as the berry's sticky juice stained the sides of her mouth, and neck, the juice of the nearby berries having been pressed and leaked onto her as she leaned over. Either way, she would have to go and clean herself.
Kaida got up and stretched, her legs ached from laying there for a while, her legs having been tucked beneath her. She looked around past the forest trees, trying to figure out a nearby source of water to clean herself with after her little meal. "I need to remind myself to stop being such a messy eater.", Kaida groaned in a sort of happy and relaxed tone. There wasn't much of a need to get so angry over such a small matter.
Kaida paused for a minute, listening to the forest and its sounds. She heard a ripple; A river was nearby. She ran on over past the trees into the direction of the rushing water, finally seeing it in view, not too far away. She stopped mid-step, a small gasp escaped from her maw as she noticed the water dragon laying by the side of the river.

Alaois let out a rather large yawn, his teeth baring as his mouth opened wide. His eyes were half closed until he heard the noise behind him. Raising his head he turned it, catching sight of the dragon before him with his dark pink eyes.
A rippling of the water could be heard as his tail moved to and fro. He didn't speak for the longest time, he just watched her, his interest slightly prinkling at the back of his neck. He finally stopped staring, turning his head from her as his body quivered from a slight movement, allowing himself some room to stretch. "Such a pretty and poised dragon, makes me wonder what you're doing so far from home.." His voice was calm though uninviting as he looked off toward the trees.

With only listening to the rippleing water; to Kaida, the "silence" seemed to last for hours. She felt frozen in place, her lungs felt like they were going to burst, as she seemed to hold her breath, not wanting to make a sound. She had been quite suprised by her coming across a water dragon, not having expected to meet anyone at all. She just looked at him curious but confused. Should she run? Or just pretend that he wasn't there? Was he dangerous?
Kaida took a few steps closer to the river, trying not to seem like much of a bother to the water dragon. As she leaned over to get a drink she heard the other dragon suddenly speak. "Huh?", she said in disbelief as she felt her legs collapse beneath her. Her face was briefly plunged into the water, washing away the excess berry juice on her maw. 'So much for "poised"', She thought to herself as she quickly regained the support of her legs.
The tone in his voice, though not showing any trace of malice, seemed unwelcoming. But Kaida decided to not provoke the dragon (Or at least hopes that she doesn't) and cleared her throat. "H-hello" She said, her voice feeling a bit jittery, not knowing if what she'd probably say would offend him even further.

Alaois continued to kick his tail through the water as she spoke. He smirked, raising his maul to the air as he sniffed it. Are you alone Miss? He asked without even looking at her.
His tail finally twisted around his body, the water sliding off his scales easily. You know... you can speak. He gave a smirking smile as he watched her.

{{ Ok, I'm not exactly happy either with whats been going on between us lately, but I still feel that it shouldn't stop us from rping at least. But its up to you if you still want to reply to it. Its quite understandable though, as to why you wouldn't want to. }}
Kaida drew back abit from his sudden question. She still felt uneasy being near this dragon. Perhaps she should have just been going on her way? She just gave him a sort of an annoyed look as she was about to just head back into the forests, stopping midstep from his comment. She looked back over to the water dragon, a small intrigued smile crossing her maw. "Well maybe I am", She said, replying to his earlier question.
