Does anyone have any tips on making your own soaps? I was thinking of infusing one with some essential oils to give it some nice aromatheraputic properties. whee

Ooh sounds interesting! I have no idea, but im sure theres a wealth of information on the internet. Also, you might want to look at putting oils in them as well, i have a nice olive oil soap which is absolutely divine for dry skin 3nodding

Ooh, an oil might be lovely! I don't know how well it would work in a melt-and pour soap, but for a true soap it might work really really nicely!

Castille soap, melted and allowed to cool part of the way (so the oils won't evaporate).
Using a jojoba oil base, mix up a small amount of scented oil (whataver scent you prefer) and mix with the partially cooled soap.
Mix/combine completely, and form into a shape of your choice. Allow a few weeks to "finish."

Thanks, Khali! I was wondering that.
We have a soap-shop in our new town, called Otion, that looks interesting.
