Welcome

To the port city of Androsa. This kingdom isn't on the Grand Line, but it is a major port, thanks to the Naval Base located not far from the Royal Palace. The city was originally based around the large island it encompasses, but it has slowly expanded over the years to colonize the shores and sea as well. There are many houses built on the water, and thousands of ships come here for supplies and armaments which they can purchase at the mill, or at the market, which is like the center hub of town.
The houses and buildings seem to look old Italian styled, with a few english shops here and there. It's a rather plain looking city, save for the palace, nestiled in the mountains overlooking the town. The palace was built over seven hundred years ago, and is well guarded by a large white marble wall that keeps any unsavory folk out. There are guards and naval officers posted, as well as officrers patrolling the town.
Pirates are not welcomed here, only good clean folk...or so it seems. Lately, a large ammount of funds has been missing from the taxes, and it seems that the cost of living has gone up a little bit each year. The people are told the increase is to keep the mine running and to fund expansion, but rumor has it that the royal family is stealing the funds, expanding their castle. Another rumor says that gold is burried deep in the mountain, and the king is secretly mining it.
For those lucky enough to visit, the palace grounds are lovely, and there is a cove on the other side of the island, known as 'Lover's Crecent' due to the crecent shapped rock formation that juts out into the cove.
