[[ATM I'm not sure who Tamiko_kitten is going to be RPing with but I will put our lions names on the title when she does. ^^]] Luna smiled as she padded through the grasses of the lands. She let out a small yawn and looked around. She closed her eyes and let the wind blow against her face, it felt really good. She started walking again this time a little bit fast. The sun was just starting to come up, she liked getting a fresh and early start every morning.
She bent down over a stream and looked at her greenish teal fur and her golden markings making sure that she looked desent. She lapped up some water before ploping down on the ground and letting out a slight yawn.

 Khatira stepped silently through the tall grass, head moving languidly from side to side as she walked. She was in no hurry today, there was no place she needed to be really. And in a way, it was nice, just to walk without having to think, letting her feet direct her, and take her where they may. There was a sort of freedom in it that she enjoyed. No boundaries, no responsibilities, just her and the plains.
Putting her head up, she caught a scent, and sniffing lightly, managed to detect where it was coming from. There was another lion nearby, and there was also...water. Only now realizing her thirst, she padded in the direction of the stream. Funny how those things worked, she hadn't even thought about it before, but once she smelt water, her throat already began to feel dry. As she came upon it, she looked down the bank, seeing the lion she had scented earler. A deep green lioness, with elegant gold markings adorning her body. Curious, Khatira stepped closer, stopping to lap up some water before looking back at the other lioness. "Hello there," she called out with a smile. She was already here, might as well get to know this other one.

Luna smiled as she looked up. She was an older lioness, new to these lands but she was older. She was quite wise too. Her smile was full of joy. "Hello. I am Luna and who are you?"
She arched a slight brow while keeping her gaze on the other lioness. She shifted around so she was laying on her side, ((Like teh picture)) Her golden markings happened to shine just a bit. She laughed at her reflection, it was twisting around from the both of them recently lapping up the sparkling water.

As Khatira studied the lioness in front of her, she realized that she was an older lioness. Not ancient, but older than Khatira. It was the eyes that were the most obvious, as the lionesses body still looked strong and healthy, and such pretty markings too. As she moved, they seemed to almost shine. But her eyes, they seemed so deep, so full of wisdom that Khatira had not yet attained, she wondered if she ever would. She blinked as she realized she was being spoken too, hoping the other lioness hadn't noticed she was staring.
"Oh, ah, I'm Khatira. Nice to meet you." She said with a small nod of her head and a grin. Noticing Luna laughing at the water, Khatira also looked, grinning as she saw their reflections distorting. She liked this lioness, Luna already. She had a sense of humour.

Luna smiled her gazed was brought back up, "Very nice to meet you Khatira. What brings such a beautiful young lioness to these lands?" She sat up and shook out her coat a bit. "I haven't seen many around here lately, well atleast this part of the land." She wraped her tail around her back leg. "Maybe is it just my old age, maybe even because I have not been here long, but you are the first I have seen here."
She looked up at the sky as a cloud moved in front of the sun making shade. She looked back down at the water as it relaxed, then she turned her gaze back up to the other lioness.

She blushed as Luna called her pretty, and then considered the question. What had brought her here? There was something, surely, and yet she could not name it. It wasn't anything solid, nothing that she knew for certain as to why she had come. It was more just a feeling. It was how she went to anyplace really, just...let her feet do the walking. "I'm not really sure. I suppose, I just wandered over here. I know it doesn't sound like any real reason, but that's what I do mostly. Just...wander. So I'm pretty new here."
When she heard herself say it, it didn't sound too great. Like what, she had nothing better to do that wander? Which was pretty much the truth, as unappealing as it sounded.

"Interesting.." She purred as she let out a smile. Today was a pretty good day, meeting other lions was fun. She nodded to the other female. "I'm glad to know that I am not the only new lioness around here, it makes me feel better about not knowing where I am going" She laughed.
