Since I got married, pretty much all tattoos have kinda been put off, like not happening.
So, he and I have agreed to two simple ideas, well one for sure, the other is maybe.
He's not necesarily happy with it but oh well.
The first is the phrase "Beauty from Pain" which refers to my surgery and just things in general. he agrees to this one, kinda like its therapy. I had wanted to get it in proportion with my rose but they said they couldn't get it to small.
The other one is the phrase, "Always and Forever" that one will probably wait til after I have children and will be paired with kanji, kinda like my other ankle tattoo. Tony is iffy on this one.
Yes I am away that it is my body, and my choice on tattoos, not his, but trust me, when you are married and living together, its much easier if you don't intentionally piss them off

Oh... I'd like to see all your tattoos sometime! Your first idea is quite interesting, and yes very meaningful. I consider tattoos beauty from pain but your surgery and things in general I'm still unsure of, but thats your decision, not mine. Good luck on the second one! I hope you get it!

Oh I completely understand. You want the tattoos but you still need his opinion on it. You still want him to be interested in you.
I wan to get a 1/4 sleeve tattoo and my bf doesn't really want like tattoos too much. His opinion matters to me. I love this guy. I'm still not sure however if I want to make that commitment and get that tattoo, so I'm still deciding.

I got a surgery that the only guarantee was that it would be a cosmetic fix, they couldn't guarantee it would help my lungs.

I think you should go get the "Beauty from Pain" I'm not sure where you should get it though.... If this is like your final tattoo, don't you want to have a grand finale?
