AkA Searching for the full moon. Here's some info thanks to Anime News Network! Genres: Comedy, Drama, Romance, Shoujo, Supernatural Age rating: Older Children (May contain mild bad language, bloodless violence) Twelve year old Kouyama Mitsuki was devastated when she was diagnosed with a malignant tumor of the throat. She had made a promise to the boy she loves that she would one day become a singer, but her illness made singing impossible. To make matters even worse, two angels of death, Takuto and Meroko, appeared to Mitsuki and informed her that she only had one year left to live. This news provides an even greater motivation for Mitsuki to fulfill her dreams, and with a little bit of divine intervention, she begins her quest to become a professional singer so she can be reunited with Eichi before time runs out. The anime and manga versions are a little different from each other though. Fans say the anime is really sad while the manga is good. I've seen both and they are different. Let's discuss about it here please! =D

I've seen the anime before, it's pretty good. (And no one's replied before me is because everyone who watched it was at con this weekend.)

x) We left really early Friday morning. The night before was spent sewing cosplay outfits. xD *cough* No we didn't skip out on school. >_> We all had...uh...doctor's appointments. Yes. That's it.

Man I need to start coming in here more often and stop going to general discussion all the time. I'm finding all kinds of threads to reply to tonight! lol
ahem.... TAKUTOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
hehehe! Ah what an emotional show this was. I watched this show over a course of 1 weekend. over 20 hours... of nothing but staring at my computer screen, crying and refusing to go anywhere to see what was going to happen to Mitsuki. Her talking about Eichi-kun all the time was quite annoying though. reminds me of Sakura talking about Sasuke. lol And at first I didn't like Meroko but then she started to grow on me.
Hooray! *does the pose* NEGI RAMEN!

LIKE mitsuki, i just laughed when they first did the Negi Ramen style thing. xD I agree with Silver. Yeah, it got annoying how she kept talking and staying faithful to Eichi, but it was sad when she found out he died... Yup, I'm a big loyalty person so seeing her remain faithful made me like her more. The manga of Full Moon is different though. From what I've seen, she already knew that he died because she saw a report on the accident. O.o Haven't read the whole thing so I don't know what else went on.

Yeah I respect her for being so loyal to him. It was really cute and at first I was like "Aaaaaw... how cute I hope that she finds him!" But then I got annoyed cuz "No! Eichi-kun wouldn't want me to!" blah blah! lol I just get annoyed so easily when someone gets that obsessed over someone like that. lol I dunno. Probably a sign that i'd be a horrible girlfriend. lol That's why i haven't really tried to be with anyone... ever. lol
Haven't read any of the manga so I dunno the original storyline but from what I've heard it's still pretty darn good.

From what I've heard, it's a lot darker than the anime. A lot of aspects were revealed that the anime didn't get to cover. For example...apparently Takuto's first job as a Shinigami was to retrieved a certain boy's soul. Yeah....that blond one. >.> He couldn't because the boy said that he's waiting for his special person and that he couldn't go just yet.

Nanairo no kaze ni fukarete~ Tooi misaki wo mezashiteta. Yoake Mae Kokoeta MERODI~ There was alot of things that weren't covered in the anime. Don't read further unless you don't mind spoilers!!!
The anime mainly only covered stuff between Mitsuki and Takuto... Nothing much about the other characters. The manga showed that somehow Meroko knew Mitsuki's grandmother and I was quite surprised. Takuto had a girlfriend that never told him that she loved him. Mitsuki tried to run away when the shinigami group knew about Eichii because she wasn't ready to open her heart. Meroko appearently still had feelings for what's-his-name... the ghost guy turned out to be the boss that was trying to retrieve her soul. Meroko and Takuto were desperate to save Mitsuki from fate so they went back to scratch her name from the Death list. blondie was manipulated, so he brought mitsuki to midair or something and they met the boss. somehow, takuto and meroko came in time and protected her, only to have her and takuto stabbed by the scythe or whatever. they come back thanks to their strong urge to live. the boss says that her name has BEEN removed a long time ago and what he just did was just a test. in the end, takuto vanishes. Mitsuki does one more concert and sees takuto in the crowd. Happy and teary-like, she runs to him and gives him a kiss and they sing one last song. New Future. Meroko and blondie are together. the boss and a woman are together...
The reason why they all changed was because of Mitsuki's influence and words on them. ^^
but of course! I am terrible with names. =D

Aww, Meroko ended up with Izumi? I'm glad than. <3 I was very disappointed with the way her part ended in the anime so I'm glad she's got SOMEBODY in the manga.

Izumi! I liked him even though they only showed him for like 2 seconds in the show. lol and they tried to make him be the jerk of the hour I liked him. I'm glad Meroko ended up with him. She was pretty much screwed over in the show. Yay for Takuto! lol I love Takuto.
