Like the title says this is not meant to be based off the movie. The battle for the Alamo is one of the greatest events in history to me because it shows marvelous, patriotism, will for freedom, and honor. 120 men stand against Santa Anna's 6,000 yet fight bravely, to the last so they can be free from Mexican rule. This is meant to be historically accurate but since it's an rp I can allow a few changes such as, the battle being longer than six days, The cannon fire that aloowed the spanish to claim victory never happening, possibly the defenders winning...?
Word has finally reached you ears. The news spread like wildfire throughout the Mission. "6,000... that many...?" Similar words were wispered by many of the men. The scout had returned with news of the size of Santa Anna's army. It held 6,000 strong against their mear 120. The final battle plans were being made inside the catherdral, their ammo and supplies were low, they had few men, the inner choke points were being studied and the ammount of men on the walls was being contemplated. Could they last? Probably not but they would try. For Texas, for their freedom.
