Walking along the sidewalks, feeling lonely and unwanted, you can do nothing but feel a heavy weight looming over you. You sigh, longfully as you approach a stop light. Forced to look up to observe the 'Do Not Walk' sign across the street from you, you find yourself distracted by a small, but quaint building that doesn't seem to fit in with the broken down buildings surrounding it. Painted a stunning white, you raise your hand to block the sun shining off it. Above the heart-shaped doors you notice a sign. Encrypted on the sign in bold, red letters, reads, "Cupid's Arrow."
You cross the street, only slightly aware that the sign did not say, 'walk,' yet. You find yourself standing in front of the doors and are caught by surprise by a sweet intoxicating scent invading your senses. Suddenly, the weight and depression you felt just moments before, has lifted and you feel an excitement within you that charges your body like electricity.
With a slow, but steady hand, you reach for the bar on the door and pull it open. The scent you smelled before was only a fraction of it's true intensity. Your eyes adjust to the dim red lights hanging from the low ceiling and note the beautiful mahogany tables and bar furnishing the room.
A woman approaches you with a bright smile on her face. She is wearing a wide-brimmed hat and a mask that reminds you of that of Antonio Bendara's when he played the stunning, couragous, Zorro with Catherine Zeta-Jones. With a soft enchanting voice, she greets you. "Good afternoon," she says, "welcome to Cupid's Arrow. The club for singles. We gaurantee that you will not leave alone. My name is Crystal."
A fitting name, you think to yourself.
"Please, make yourself comfortable." Crystal says to you as she extends her arm and presents to you the room which is now at your disposal.
