Sorry, I couldn't resist. sweatdrop I'm sure many people won't know who that is, but to the Bible College student, at least for Protestants, (and I hope I spelled his name right, come to think of it) this guy is pretty important. But one thousand page texts are probably NOT the best for this guild. We should be looking for, I don't want to use the words 'more practical' or 'more interesting,' but perhaps... easier-and-faster-to-read-and-understand books. Most people don't have time to even SKIM Ryrie, and thus would probably ignore him entirely. Let's try to make this place as user-friendly as possible. Any good links anyone?

MotherSky, if you see this post, I'd like to ask you about Shane Claibourne and his book "The Irresistable Revolution." Can you provide a link or give a summary of what the book is about? And "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran sounds like a book about Mohammud. What is that book about as well?
